33cl flip-top bottle, thanks Tomaz for bringing this one from Berlin. Dorée/paille opaque, col blanc fin. Arôme est de gingembre sans pour cela être une bombe d’épice. Retrouve une petite présence de grains; blé/froment. En bouche, bière épicé restant correcte surtout pour le faible taux d’alcool. Sèche avec une petite note de malt et levure, fruité presque de pomme avec le gingembre en retrait laissant une petite pointe épicée sur la langue au fini. Légère.

Pours amber orange hazy cloudy with white frothy head, which set relatively fast. Aromas are fruity, orange, citrus, ginger in vague form, plums. Palate is watery thin with lively tart mouth feel. Carbonation is weak, but smooth and mouthful. Aftertaste is little sweet tart and fruity. The ginger flavor is vague medium and but leaves with a quite typical ginger warming spicy tickling mouth feel with no bitterness or maltiness. Interesting ale and style and also refreshing. Will drink definitely more.

 On tap @ brewpub in an unassuming markethalle a few blocks outside the tiergarten in Berlin.  Aroma of cereal, fresh ginger, and cream. Palate seems like a deconstructed ginger beer, with a clash between a basic brewers mash cereal flavor and perfumey fresh ginger. Finish is short and tart.

Bottle at the brewpub. Hazy gold, low carbonation. Light, rather thin body. Warming ginger, refreshing, citrus sting. All right for a low alcohol summer refreshment.

swing top bottle 330ml. - at the Brewbaker. Murky yellow/orange coloured, small white head, rose hip and hibiscus in the nose (no ginger). Pretty stale acidic rose hip and hibiscus taste (again no ginger) with low carbonation and big sediment at the bottom. Watery and not so successful try.

Draught. Hazy orange with a thin head. Fruit flavour, almost like a wheat beer that has had washing up liquid added. Watery feel with a washed orange aftertaste. strange one.

Draught@brewpub. Slightly hazy amber color, steady creamy beige head. Light dish water and spicey aroma. Sweet malty flavor with ginger spiceyness. Semi-light, sweet brew. Ginger is fortunately not dominating.
