Big swing-top bottle. Mini-gush but non biggie. Cloudy ruby body with a loud and fizzy light brown head. Caramel and roast, bitter with chocolate and toffee carrying long into the aftertaste. Dusting of mocha and ash and little of the grape-malt I associate with darker Böcke. Medium body with some alcohol showing and some phenols, even some pitted fruits. Low sweetness and low-medium bitterness. Relatively dry and porterish for a Bock, and a lot easier to dig it after it calms down a bit.

Bottle from the brewbar. Cloudy brown with a medium off white head. Aroma of soft fruit caramel and malt. Flavour is deep caramel with a plum malt with a rounded light roast finish. Palate is dry and malty.
