On tap at Brewbaker Berlin.
Appearance : Pitch black with a small creamy head. Head is long lasting. Not much lacing.
Aroma : Roasted malt, light coffee and light chocolate. Notes of ashes
Taste : Roasted malt with what feels like lactose. Roasty finish with light coffee. A bit sweet. Carbonation quite flat. Light notes of butterscotch.
Overall : A bit weak overall. Far behind their good pilsner.

Svesse (4389) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - AUG 14, 2010
(Draught at the brewpub, Berlin, 20 July 2010) Dark brown colour, almost black, with frothy beige head. Roasted, malty nose with notes of coffee, dark chocolate and slightly burnt malt. Roasted, malty taste with coffee, dark chocolate and a dry finish with a mild coffee bitterness. Rather light body. According to the staff, the abv is ca 4%. Very nice and highly drinkable stout (no, it’s not an abbey dubbel as it is listed as).
