3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at Kings Head Hotel Adelaide which serves beers brewed in South Australia only and is therefore recommended for tickers.
This one pours copper-amber with medium sized off white head. Aromas of caramel, citrus fruits (grapefruit, oranges), stone fruits, and a touch of piney resin. Taste is hop driven with a decent fruity long bitterness on top of the biscuity malts. Lightish mouthfeel and carbonation making for an easy session. I was reminded more of a ESB rather than an APA.

Bottle at the Tramway hotel. Strong character both from malt and hops. Aromas of caramel, grass, and citrus. Taste is sweet, with bitter notes, average length. Palate is velvety, and medium bodied. Amber, with a frothy head.

330ml bottle. A well rounded full body with intensely inviting citrus and floral hop aromas, robust caramel malt back palate, well balanced with lingering bitterness

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
a good pale ale, nothing exceptional but not too bad. Brewboys have never really been my favourite brewer

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
poured a golden amber with a quick fading head.
Mostly floral smell with some lemon citrus notes. Taste is a lemon biscuit due to the amount of yeast.
Clean, crisp beer. Well balanced
Good session beer

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
From a 330ml bottle on 16/8/2011. Pours a clear golden/copper with a big head.Has a slight grassy, fruity aroma. Flavour wise, there is a touch of sweet fruit (particularly citrus) but the main feature is a quite assertive, almost tangy and very long bitterness. This is more an English pale in my view, and quite a decent one.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from Mane Liquor. Pretty surprised with this one. Pours a cloudy orange with quite a big fluffy white head. Aroma brings out sweet caramel malts and some piney hops. There is a slight musky aroma in there as well but it isn’t entirely off putting like most. Plenty of piney hops in the taste with additions of citrus and grass. Good brew

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Pours a hazy orange amber with smallish cream coloured. Looks a little flat in the glass. Aromas of light caramel, honey and some grassy hops. Flavours were fairly straight forward. Malt sweetness up front with some resiny hops on the finish. Very soft carbonation. Not the nest but great as a session ale I suggest.
