3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: SEP 16, 2014 Straw colour with some golden hue. Aroma is nelson hops but not excessively so (thank goodness). Taste is more of the nelson but with a lovely hoppy bitterness. Good session beer.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. I don’t really understand session IPA’s as a style (they’re really just good pale ale’s) but this was as you’d expect, an IPA without the body it needs.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
At just on cool and into a tulip. Misted, mid-orange with fine conditioning and a soppy, inch of white atop. Very candyish, peardrop and piney, nose; quite floral with hints of rose petal, dandelion and lavender. Very pleasant, candyish, fruit chew palate (maybe that was the aroma too!). Tastes of Pascall winegums of the eighties. Body is light to medium-light with moderate carbonation. Not much length. Dries out a lot reminiscent of sawdust. Moderately bitter but sheltered and shy. Vinous, tangy and drawing as it warms further, but this doesn’t persist too much after each sip. Malt is just on toasted and bready. Like a fruity Chenin Blanc spider of a beer. Quite drinkable but I dare say it wouldn’t be too sessionable. Not too shabby overall. (33cL, no date stamp, The Liquor Shed, Jandakot)

500ml bottle from The Wine Emporium 080613. Nice sessionable IPA that is not over hopped and doesn’t strip the taste buds from your tongue.

Love this beer. Such a great session IPA that ticks all the boxes with aroma and taste. The Nelson Sauvin hops come through perfectly. This is a mighty fine Aussie IPA and up there with the best.

Very happy to give this a 5. Up there with Feral Hop Hog in my opinion. I know I am biased but this is well balanced and very enjoyable. Very hoppy.

Big citrus and resin aroma. Cloudy golden colour with excellent head. Big resinous flavour with some malty relief. Med body and carbonation

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: NOV 2, 2014 Bottle from Mane Liquor. Very good looking stuff. Golden straw with a thick and sticky white head. Nose has plenty of stone fruits and bright citrus zesty notes. Taste is balanced citric zest and stone fruits. Nice tang here with plenty of peach and nectarine. Touch too much carbonation for my liking but helps it flow. Upon having this on tap, all the nuances which I deducted points for to begin with seem to have gone. This was absolutely epic

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Had on tap at Mrs Parmas in Melbourne. A pretty decent IPA but lacked a bit of bitterness and complexity. Nonetheless a solid IPA from a Victorian Brewery coming back from a short hiatus, keep up the good work guys!

2.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 8/20
Pours a deep copper colour with a okey white soapy head. Aroma from the tropical fruits; passionfruit and peach, also some pine in there. Flavour is much like the aroma, but a bit of caramel in addition. A bit too bitter finish imo. The thing I really don’t like with this on, is the mouthfeel. It’s way too carbonated, which makes a really soapy feeling in the mouth. An okey Ipa, but not much more.
