3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Had on tap at Mrs Parmas in Melbourne. A pretty decent IPA but lacked a bit of bitterness and complexity. Nonetheless a solid IPA from a Victorian Brewery coming back from a short hiatus, keep up the good work guys!

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
330mL bottle from Beer Cartel
Hazy sort of pale amber body, small white foam.
Moderate intensity nose; biscuity malts, spicy, woody, citrusy, slightly passionfruity hops.
Medium body & carbonation, drops away rather quickly on the finish.
Hop forward on the body - pine, wood, dried leafy herbs, bitter citrus & overly ripe tropical fruits. Bitterness rather high, there’s a touch of biscuity malt but balance is off.
Something seems amiss here - perhaps a bit old? It’s nice, but perhaps not as much as expected.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
A murky bronze colour with a fast disappearing, stark white head. Very fresh and tropical fruit hop aromas, smells sweet. Light and punchy to taste, gentle pine notes that leave a slight lingering bitterness. This isn’t overly complex, but is perfect for a session IPA. Tastes a little under carbonated, and a little thin - but theres a nice malty end to it that rounds it out nicely.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from cellarbrations super super store in hami hill. Pours golden with a thick creamy head leaving loads of lacing. On the nose it's juicy tropical fruits. It's low to medium bodied with low carbonation. Taste is loads of citrus with plenty of grassy notes with hints of grapefruit and passion fruit with a not so over powering bitter finish. Solid session IPA.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
So fruity on the nostrils. Fair bit of resin. Grapefruit sparked by the hops is beautiful. Great sting on back of tongue. This a good IPA. 330ml, 5%, 1.3sts drinks.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: SEP 16, 2014 Straw colour with some golden hue. Aroma is nelson hops but not excessively so (thank goodness). Taste is more of the nelson but with a lovely hoppy bitterness. Good session beer.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. I don’t really understand session IPA’s as a style (they’re really just good pale ale’s) but this was as you’d expect, an IPA without the body it needs.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
At just on cool and into a tulip. Misted, mid-orange with fine conditioning and a soppy, inch of white atop. Very candyish, peardrop and piney, nose; quite floral with hints of rose petal, dandelion and lavender. Very pleasant, candyish, fruit chew palate (maybe that was the aroma too!). Tastes of Pascall winegums of the eighties. Body is light to medium-light with moderate carbonation. Not much length. Dries out a lot reminiscent of sawdust. Moderately bitter but sheltered and shy. Vinous, tangy and drawing as it warms further, but this doesn’t persist too much after each sip. Malt is just on toasted and bready. Like a fruity Chenin Blanc spider of a beer. Quite drinkable but I dare say it wouldn’t be too sessionable. Not too shabby overall. (33cL, no date stamp, The Liquor Shed, Jandakot)
