COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottled, special
Brewed in collaboration with Soren from New Zealand’s stellar 8-Wired brewery, this is an imperial pilsner featuring two of our favourite New Zealand hops: Nelson Sauvin and Motueka. Sitting at a dangerously drinkable 7.1% ABV there’s a touch of munich malt which gives this beer that little extra caramel biscuit bite to compliment the lip smackingly tropical hops. Expect an all out NZ hoppy riot. - See more at: http://www.brewdog.com/blog-article/impending-liquid-anarchy-some-upcoming-beers#sthash.Fvn7kB0i.dpuf

Bottle with Sylvia and Floris. Hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is like a slice of mango atop a caramel biscuit. The flavour is crisp and sweet with mango, passionfruit, pineapple. Very smooth with a nice subtle bitterness. Quaffer.

from Brewdog’s online shop</> - cloudy dark blond beer under a huge foam left, nice lacework; fruity and spicy hoppy nose; light oily and full-bodied, pretty sweet, some bitterness and more fruity and grassy notes in the finish

Light hazy golden orange, minimal white head. Hoppy, but fresh aroma with sweet orange peel, caramel and manuka honey malts. Delicious balance between the manuka honey-caramel taste and the herbal-like hoppy bitterness. Explosion kf bitterness fading into a pleasant bitter aftertaste.

Wonderful example how you can brew an Imperial in. Full of hops, loads of peaches and some vanilla in the aftertaste. Never had an Imperial like that one. Wonderful.

Bottle from trade with beersiveknown - many thanks. Steve! The beer pours out in a deep golden colour with steady low head and smooth body. Aroma of hops and grass with some citrus notes. Taste of intense hops, barley, wheat, light malt, grass, citrus and straw. Great beer.

Bottled. The aroma has pineapple, grass, flowery tones, honey. Hazy, golden coloured with a medium, lasting, slight off-white head. The taste is light-moderate bitter with a nice continuous malt sweetness from the initial taste till the finish, making it not aggressive harsh/dry. Though it remains quite drinkeable and refreshing. Yes, this is nice, but I wouldn’t mind a bit more hoparoma (combination nelson-motueka is great).

Bottle. Pours hazy orange in color with a small whitish head. Loads of very ripe tropical fruits at first on the nose. As these seem quite intense, they overwhelm pretty much everything else here. Light bitterness in taste, but again more of that tropical fruityness in taste. Bittersweet in finish. Quite nice fruity cocktail going on here.
