330 ml bottle, rated from backlog. Dark brown with small beige head. Aroma and taste are similar; loads of raisins and rum, figs and other dried fruit, brown sugar, spice, more raisins with massive alcohol notes in the finish.

Bottle at BrewDog, Newcastle on 26 July 2013. Poured a slightly hazy amber with a dense yellow head. Aroma of raisons and other dried fruit, rum, christmas pudding and alcohol. Lashings of dark sticky fruit flavours with molasses and treacle. Rich biscuity palate with more dark fruit, whiskey and warming alcohol.

33 cl bottle, Manchester, UK, Hilton Dean’s gate, UK departure night. Ruby brown, rum raisins aroma. Sweet, almost cola flavor, if it had high quality rum in it. Finish is smooth, oak and more rum.

Miksu (4948) - Jyväskylä, FINLAND - JUL 9, 2013
0.33 l bottle (11.9 %), thanks hanniku! Almost opaque dark reddish brown color. Thick toffeish and nutty aroma with almonds, dried fruits, burnt sugar and tar. Bittersweet toffeish and raisiny taste with smoky and tarry whisky. Finish is dominated by islay type whisky with iodine and peat smoke. Full body. Good sipper, good replacement for a after lunch whisky.

UPDATED: SEP 2, 2013 Bottle from Brewdog. 11.9%. Pours chocolatey brown, small beige head. From start to finish this was raisins and rum. Smell is incredible, sweet raisins, figs, [insert sticky dried fruit here]. The brown sugar, spiciness and caramel are all present too. It?s just a fruity, sweet brew, but obviously has a boozy punch. Nice medium body as you?d expect, a long finish that stillo doesn?t last long enough. Truly one of the very best I?ve had. Please make more.

Pours dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma: vanilla, oak, raisins, juniper, figs, dates, some hints of pear. Taste is just lovely with raisins, caramel, honey, heather, figs, dates, bourbon, applebrandy. Extremely well balanced. Bottle @ home, stored 6 months. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
