15-MAR-2013, bottle @Sonni, @Ulkløbben tasting. Dark dark amber with tan head. Aroma is wonderfull with malt, bread, alcohol, dried fruit, raisins, plum, rum. Taste more messy. Rum - too much rum, cardboard, raisins, malt, sharp alcohol. Strange brew. A mess. Is this sick? Aroma was so promising...

UPDATED: FEB 25, 2013 Deep brown colour with a thick, frothy and persistant tan head. Nose is coffee, caramel and hops. Oily-creamy texture, medium carbonation. Aromas are coffee, wood, burnt caramel, hops and raisin. Alcohol is quite present but subtle (rum). Perfectly balanced between sweetness at the begining and bitterness at the end. Long bitter and alcoholic finish. A great experience !

Medium brown head. Hazy opaque black body goes deep dark brown at edge. Syrupy whisky and soy sauce aroma with caramel and toffee notes. Dry-sweet alcoholic smoky whisky taste with sugary caramel notes. Full body. Hot mouthfeel. Dryish smoky burnt whisky aftertaste with chocolate, caramel and earth notes. Quite nice, but very strong and sharp. (0.33l bottle, wine monopoly, Vika, Oslo.)

Bottle from Vinmonopolet Storo enjoyed at home
Dark brown, thick creamy tanned head. Smells of raisins, rum, whisky, anis and malts. Medium sweet, then an interesting flavor i would identify as Fernet Branca, some spices and some medicine like things. Then comes the rum and raisins and take over with some oak in the back. Medium bitter, some hops. Quite unique beer; the Fernet thing is quite unusual, quite odd spiced up. The raisins though owns this beer. I liked it quite alot. Mixing whisky and rum was not a bad idea
