COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
keg and bottled, special
Brewed in collaboration with Jeppe from Evil Twin Brewing (and named after his mum), this Double IPA is big on fruity flavours.
The latest instalment in our “Hello My Name Is…” series, this beer has been built on the same robust malt base as its predecessors and single hopped with Mosaic for lots of tropical, passion fruit and citrus flavours. Loaded with well over 100kg of blueberries, this is one super fruity hop bomb.
Malts: Extra Pale, Caramalt, Wheat
Hops: Mosaic
Twist: Loaded with heaps of blueberries

33cl bottle @El Coleccionista, Gijón.16-02-2014.
In short: weird dry IPA.
Pours hazy dark golden, with some off white head. Poor head retention, poor lacing. Some caramel and berries aromas Medium body, average carbonation, oily texture. Taste is quite bitter and dry, berries, fruity. Bitterness and bitterness, not much else. A bit dissapointing.

Tap at Taps in KL. Translucent copper pour with minimal head. Aroma is fruity hops but not very strong. Taste starts with crispy bitterness then fruity - not just blueberry - flavor. The blueberry is present but if I didn't know I'd probably just think it generally fruity, but that's not a bad thing. Very smooth palate. Bitter dry finish. Solid DIPA and happy to get to try a collaboration between two brewers I like so much, but not as special/odd as I thought it would be. Very drinkable - would get again.

Bottle. This was pretty old by the time I got to it but is was still pretty nice. The blueberries are a nice touch.

Amber/Red color with white short-lasting head. Aroma is sweet, fruity (red and tropical fruits, apple and peach) and hoppy. Grapefruits, hops and pine are present on the taste, with clear and strong sweet touches due to blueberry and sweet caramel. Aftertaste is between sweet and bitter, which does not persist so much.

33cl bottle shared. Pours clear amber with a small off white head. Smells of caramel, sweet fruits, ripe berries and some resinous notes. Taste starts sweet and develops super fruity (tropical fruits, berries, red oranges) with citrus peel and sweet notes. Medium hoppy dry finish. Very good.

from la Mise en Bičre</> - pours a hazy reddish-orange beer with a moderate foam left; blueberries appear evident in front of a fair resiney and flowery hoppiness; full-bodied, a subtle yet fair carbonation, some sweetness and a late fruity sourness; a long resiney hoppy bitterness develops in the finish where the blueberries are more discrete

Hazy amber color, tons of perfumy nose blueberries in the nose. Big malty backbone with big blueberry notes. This is the biggest bad ass blueberry beer I’ve ever had. Very nice but doesn’t blow me away.

Bardzo intensywny aromat owocowy - owoce tropikalne i borówka przede wszystkim, w tle trochę cytrusów i lekki alkohol. Piana niewielka, barwa piwa bursztynowa. Warka do 9.10.’14.
