Brewed in collaboration with Jeppe from Evil Twin Brewing (and named after his mum), this Double IPA is big on fruity flavours.
The latest instalment in our “Hello My Name Is…” series, this beer has been built on the same robust malt base as its predecessors and single hopped with Mosaic for lots of tropical, passion fruit and citrus flavours. Loaded with well over 100kg of blueberries, this is one super fruity hop bomb.

Slightly dark amber, off white lasting head. Skinful of watery blueberries, wrapped in tinfoil of malt. Neat and sweet initial taste, middle of the road carbonation doesn’t leave a trudging finish of soft berry meddley, straightforward hop juiciness sweels a bitter enough finish, but a werid frozen booze burn of fruit compote sweet linger

Tap @ Mikkeller Bar, Viktoriagade. Pours deep red copper with a small, creamy, off-white head. Aroma has citrus, light pee, some fruitiness. Low to medium carbonation, fine dry and quite creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has sweet berries at first, apples, quite elegant hoppiness, citrus, zesty, pine, resin. Quite bitter, lingering finish.

330 ml bottle, pours orange-golden, small head. Fruity aroma with herbs and caramel, wheat malt backbone, tangy and quite sharp citrus, finish is bitter, alcohol and not quite balanced, still, it’s a solid DIPA. Carbonation average.

33cl bottle from BD Shoreditch. It pours a deep orange / ruby colour with a large white head. Aroma is extremely hoppy and fruity, peachy with some little beery-like tartness. Taste is perfectly balanced between fruity sweetness and hoppy bitterness, with prevailing fruity sweetness and pineapple notes. Medium to full body with lively carbonation. Overall, well made DIPA, with very good fruity hoppy profile.

Draft. An amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and citrusy hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, citrusy hops, and malt, leading to a dry bitter finish, where the alcohol is felt on the palate.

UPDATED: OCT 21, 2013 Tap. Pours hazy pale amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of citrus, floral notes, tropical, fruit and caramel. Sweet flavor that ends up more dry and pleasant bitter. Medium bodied, oilt text. and soft carb. A nice, crips brew indeed.
