Brewed in collaboration with Jeppe from Evil Twin Brewing (and named after his mum), this Double IPA is big on fruity flavours.
The latest instalment in our “Hello My Name Is…” series, this beer has been built on the same robust malt base as its predecessors and single hopped with Mosaic for lots of tropical, passion fruit and citrus flavours. Loaded with well over 100kg of blueberries, this is one super fruity hop bomb.
Malts: Extra Pale, Caramalt, Wheat
Hops: Mosaic
Twist: Loaded with heaps of blueberries

33cl, new exclusive Scottish collab. brew Anno 2013, with blueberries, from Geers Oostakker, complex bitter brew, floral/bitter and slightly fruity/alcoholic, not balanced, clear, small head, nice brew, yet expensive!

Bottle from BD online. Pours clear orange with a small foamy white head leaving spotty lacing. Nose loaded with piney hops, sweet citric juice, lemon zest, lemon rind, and mandarin. Half way between citric and tropical. Taste favours the sweeter side. Heavy mandarin and tangerine, light pine and floral hops. Sweet vinous notes too, berry like with white grapes. An odd mixture here. Some astringent bitterness and a touch cloying but works ok. Doesn’t quite come together like I had hoped but it’s still a fine beer

330 ml bottle. #237. BB 09/10/14. Kahdet Kasvot, Tampere, Finland. Clear amber colour with a small white head. Strange hoppy aroma... I can't say what it is... maybe some exotic fruits... and mild bitterness. Not bad at all. The flavour is... well... interesting... Not necessarily very tasty. Moderate bitterness and some... caramel maltiness and something I really can't put my finger on... Mild sweetness there too. 8.2% is very well hidden. After all I won't need another one... ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: NOV 7, 2013 Thx! to Kraddel. 33 cl. bottle sampled. BBF 09/10/2014. Pale & clear golden, little head. Nose is pretty sweet for an IIPA, way too sweet even, sweet pine resin hops here mixed with quite a bit of dough, white sugar & caramel. There is quite a bit of hops here but it is all a bit oddly sweet. Taste is bitter pine resin mixed with white sugar, sweet dough, caramel, toffee, touch herbal, hay,... I is all sweet & oily. This is a basic & okay IIPA which is fine if they didn’t charge a surplus because it has a lot of blueberries which I am not getting at all. It seems like the fruits fermented all out & made this stuff sweeter but other than that. If you put blueberry on something, I need to be able to taste it. This is my 3rd beer from the series & 3rd time I am not getting any fruit, I call this a rip-off honestly. It is an okay-ish IIPA & thus the score. Just for that, not keeping the promise in mind.

Keg at BrewDog Leeds. Clear copper orange, thick head leaves some light lacing. Soft blueberry yoghurt, supple tropical fruits, light sweet biscuit malt nose. Surprisingly sweet, nice full fruity berry character and soft bitterness. Just a tiny bit sweet for me but pretty decent!

Bottle from Cornelius. Barely any off-white head. Amber orange colour, very clear. Strong cat piss nose. Moderate hoppy initial taste. Sweet fruit blueberry. Sticky and cloying. Not good.
