COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
keg and bottled, special
Brewed in collaboration with Jeppe from Evil Twin Brewing (and named after his mum), this Double IPA is big on fruity flavours.
The latest instalment in our “Hello My Name Is…” series, this beer has been built on the same robust malt base as its predecessors and single hopped with Mosaic for lots of tropical, passion fruit and citrus flavours. Loaded with well over 100kg of blueberries, this is one super fruity hop bomb.
Malts: Extra Pale, Caramalt, Wheat
Hops: Mosaic
Twist: Loaded with heaps of blueberries

@Basunen: lite lagom doft. Smaken är väl också helt ok fast blåbär verkar var svårt att hitta. En lite parfymerad eftersmak. Nja. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone ---- Soberness not garanteed!

Kopparfärgad med litet skum! Mycket humle i doft och smak med lite inslag av blåbär! Lite spritig tyvärr! Bra öl!

330 ml bottle. A clear, deep golden body with a thin white head. Lovely, strong, almost intense in aroma, tropical fruit, berries and some caramel. Flavor is sweet malty, tropical fruit, grapefruit, berries, some pine, malt and quite bitter. Did not find any blueberries, but blueberries don’t taste much anyway so this might just be a part of the general berry flavor. Fine body and long bitter aftertaste. Refreshing and tasty. Alcohol is well hidden.

Bottle. Sweet flavors. Blueberry, grapefruit, caramel. Smooth and gentle full body feeling. A clear amber orange color. Small white head. Not that bitter. I didn’t expect that caramel flavor which I truly like.

330ml bottle. Clear, copper-ish deep golden colour with small, frothy to creamy, fairly lasting and lacing, white head. Resinous hoppy aroma, sweet-ish fruity, some tropical fruit with slightly herbal-earthy character. Taste is dry hoppy, fruity hints of blueberry with herbal-earthy touch, later some pineapple and passion fruit, caramel malty basis. There’s not complete harmony between blueberry and tropical fruit - but I’m not sure if this is a negative thing or rather appealing. "We can only agree to disagree in disharmony".

Small creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is light malts, old leafs, sap, wet hops, bark, grass, hints of cardboard. Taste is old leafs, light malts, sap, old hops, cardboard, bark, soil. Longlasting bitterness, dry mouthfeel. Loaded with blueberries?! They must have forgotten to add them at all...

Draft at bistro on bridge. Pours clear copper with a medium sized off white head. The aroma has big citrus, a bit floral. The taste has a big bitterness, plenty of orange, grapefruit, balanced finish.

Pours a a very reddy amber with just a touch of fine white head.
Nose is very tropical with pineapple and passion fruit, some blueberry, a bit of citrus and some caramel.
Flavour is grapefruit on the attack, with definitely blueberry on the mid palate, along with passionfruit, pineapple, apricot on the finish and some lemon peel and grapefruit bitterness.
Mouthfeel is fairly heavy, with some oiliness to it.
Great IPA, and the blueberry flavour is really well integrated. I would have like a more upfront blueberry aroma and flavour, but still tasty.

Frisk smak! Grapefrukt, ananas, mandarin og vag furu utgjør smaksbildet. Ganske tørr, og potent bitterhet i ettersmaken. Lav/medium konsistens

Tap at Will's house in Raleigh, pre-Raleigh bottle share. Thanks Will! Pours orange with a small fizzy white head. Nose is lots of mosaic, tropical fruits abound, light diacetyl. Flavor is similar. Pretty solid. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
