COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
keg and bottled, special
Brewed in collaboration with Jeppe from Evil Twin Brewing (and named after his mum), this Double IPA is big on fruity flavours.
The latest instalment in our “Hello My Name Is…” series, this beer has been built on the same robust malt base as its predecessors and single hopped with Mosaic for lots of tropical, passion fruit and citrus flavours. Loaded with well over 100kg of blueberries, this is one super fruity hop bomb.
Malts: Extra Pale, Caramalt, Wheat
Hops: Mosaic
Twist: Loaded with heaps of blueberries

Smells wonderful! One of the fruitiest beers I have smelled. Smells citrus and a small small hint of blueberries (don’t know if I would have noticed without already know that the beer contains blueberries). Color is red, really amber color. Tastes really hoppy. Nice balanced bitterness. The beer feels a little bit thin to be 8.2%. A little bit more body wouldn’t have hurt. Overall a very refreshing beer!

Light amber with white head. Nose is funky, yeast and sweet. Taste is plain bitter and watery. Where is the hops? Blueberry? Could be the age (batch 237) but not impressed at all. Way below Brewdog and Evil Twin standard.

Bottle from the Malting Pot, BRU. Mosaic hop bitterness and passion fruit right on the nose, pours a light and translucent, lively orange. First strong hit of blueberry succumbs to IPA sharpness, with an exotic fruit finish that lingers. Delicious through and through. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

330ml Bottle. Pours a gold tinted rich orange colour, with a thin white head. Strong aromas of pine with lots of sweet blueberries coming through. Notes of roasted caramel malts and citrus. Initial bready flavour, with a soft pine character. Strong blueberry finish with a lot of bitter citrus. Glad I tried it, but probably wouldn’t buy again.

AROMA: medium-intensive, sweet tropical fruits, rather hop-based, no specific notes of blue berries; APPEARANCE: dark amber, hazy, visible particles of suspension TASTE: fair sweetness as well as bitterness (not only from hops but also from alcohol); PALATE: medium body, soft carbonation; quite long but not astringent bitterness; OVERALL: very pleasant beer, but where is the tonne of blueberries?

Nice hoppy IPA. Were afraid that blueberry taste is too sensitive but it isn’t. Fruity Double IPA, excellent company.

Good looking pour, draft, not much head present, minimal lacing, dark amber color, good taste, not too bitter, slight hint of blueberry

Dark amber with a thin cream head. Great aroma of hops and sweet berries, unusual and complex. Taste is very floral up front with the hops then kicking in to provide additional flavour and bitterness. Great ipa that does things a little unusually and is a great addition to the Brewdog lineup.

Bottle. Sweet flavors. Blueberry, grapefruit, caramel. Smooth and gentle full body feeling. A clear amber orange color. Small white head. Not that bitter. I didn’t expect that caramel flavor which I truly like.
