A very interesting one. I think it could be pine, maybe some juniper berries? Quite flat, no foam (when it got a little warmer, it resembled congac).

Much better example of the style than the Flying Dog attempt. Smooth & herbal with strong warming alcohol notes. 1 up to Brewdog I feel. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Copper color with medium head. In aroma and taste - resinous, similar to young shoot of spruce. Medium body, medium bitterness. Generally - experiment completed successfully. That beer reminds IPA. It’s interesting and drinkable.

Aroma: Smelling of sweet bread with nuts, fruits, apple, soicy, ginger, horse radish and green hay.
Appearance: A clear deep amber colored beer. A high off-white head with small lacing and some curtains.
Taste: Tasting hether honey porridge, pear and mint marmalade and generally fruity and spicy.
Palate: Medium carbonation, a soft and oily texture. A big body with a slightly dry finish.
Overall: Rather interesting, spicy and warm without any hop feeling. Could be a good base for "glögg" (glühwein).

Bottle @ home. Very clear golden orange colour with a head that doesn’t last long. Smells dishwashing soap, flowers, toiletrefresher.. Very soapy and shampooish. Tastes like it smells, but its actually okay to nice. Didn’t expect to like this. Fizzy carbo, medium body.

On tap at BD Camden. It pours a copper colour with almost no head. Aroma is sour and spicy, with vinegar and sage. Taste is similarly sour and spicy, with some fruitiness and cinnamon as well. Quite vinegary. Mouthfeel is thin with good carbonation. Overall, very nice soured ale with spices: Odd but works well.

Rather small off-white head. Clear amber to brown colour. Aroma liquorice, mint, similar to our local herb liquor "Demänovka". Cough drops. Under that lies some light smokey maltyness. The taste evolves in a very similar way to mentioned Demänovka. Initially more sweet, herbal. Towards the finish the bitterness takes over, though never above average. Notes of liquorice in the taste and finish too. This has definitely failed as an attempt to create an IPA. I am not sure, what I have expected, also unsure about what I really got. It is interesting and drinkable indeed. Higher ABV is hardly noticeable, if noticeable at all. This is not your regular beer, this does not fit in no beer style. Enjoyable in its own way. If I had a second chance, I would taste it very chilled.

Non sembra affatto una birra, non lo sembra nell’aroma, dove si sente l’assenza del luppolo e dove invece si sentono molto le spezie come la cannella, non lo sembra nell’aspetto, poca schiuma e colorazione da thè, non lo sembra nel sapore molto speziato con un’attacco dolce che vira poi su un leggero amaro. Ancora cannella su tutti! Il retrogusto senbra sempre qualcosa di altro ma forse è l’aspetto che più si avvicina alla birra considerando anche l’amarezza abbastanza persistente che lascia insieme a un gran sentore di cannella! In ogni caso buona!

delightful spicy aroma, loads of herbs and spices. High amount of thyme or arctic thyme is propably used. fun brew, would serve well with game meat. Nice test

Bottle, 7.5%. Spicy and herbal aroma, gingery and blackcurranty. Clear dark amber colour. Small frothy tan head. The flavour is like the aroma, spicy and herbal. Caramelly malt base. Has some ginger, but without much bite. Also juniper, I guess. Like a lot of the new types of christmas beer, but not bad.
