English: I Hardcore You is a 9.5% Imperial India Pale Ale, an international collaborative effort between 2 of Europe’s most rock ’n roll brewers. This beer is a blend of BrewDog’s Hardcore IPA and Mikkeller’s I Beat You. After the blending, the beer was then dry hopped a further twice. Making I Hardcore You a beer which has been dry hopped four times, or maybe even six times. We kinda lost count.

Bottle. Pours dark golden with nice white head. Aroma? Well used american hops. Citrus, reisin, fruits. It tastes like Double IPA should taste. Sweet and bitter with some fruity notes. Well-hidden alcohol. Very good.

Bottle - amber with a fizzy tan head that quickly fizzles away. Aroma is absolutely wonderful: grapefruit, hay, yeast, pineapple and lemon. Taste is tarte with some light fruits to begin, followed by grassy bitter flavour. Notes of peach and lemon peel. Long medium bitter finish with a medium sweetness. Medium and dry body, high carbonation. Very light warmness. Gave me a headache the morning after.

Mmm picked out Brewdogs’s contribution right away. Haven’t tried Mikkeller’s. Very very good IIPA. Tons of citrus flavours, hazy alcohol heat warming up the palate. Very good.

(On tap at Mikkeller Bar Stockholm, Oct 13 2014) Pours a clear copper with a tiny white lacy head. Huge hoppy nose of tangerine, mango, passion fruit and a bit of pineapple and resin along with caramel malt sweetness. On the palate, sweet and fruity with a big caramel malt backbone that is overlaid with piles of hops. Candied orange, peach, mango, white grape and others, tough to pick out. Towards the middle there’s a bit more resin from the hops as well, and then a moderate bitterness that appears in the finish. Basically no alcohol heat. This is one of the sweetest DIPAs that I’ve had and I can see how it might put some off. I like the fruit character of the hops though. Decent grip of bitterness in the back end does not dry it but does balance it a bit. Maybe better in small servings, but great stuff.

Beautiful dark gold colour with thick head. Strong aroma hoppy aroma with belgian malt and fruit flavors. Flavor is an intense blend of pine, citrus, and fruity malt flavors. Initital taste was a liquid orgasm in my mouth. Medium mouth feel with assertive bitterness and light carbonation, but is still easy to drink. Did not expect that at all, good collaboration.

Bottle. This is a collaboration between two great brewers. Two heavy tasting ipa's and even more hop's added. Heavy taste drinking. Would recommend, just not more than one ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Initial pungent nose leads to balanced, medium bodied DIPA. In a typical European IPA manner, this amber colored ale has an underlying boozy sweetness, reminiscent of peach cake. Distinct fruitiness forces itself upon the intense bitterness. One downside was a lack of carbonation.

Explosion of tastes, bitternes set just right... Rum cake, honey, peach... I love it. If you have bitternes tolerance you would take the most out of this one. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
