English: I Hardcore You is a 9.5% Imperial India Pale Ale, an international collaborative effort between 2 of Europe’s most rock ’n roll brewers. This beer is a blend of BrewDog’s Hardcore IPA and Mikkeller’s I Beat You. After the blending, the beer was then dry hopped a further twice. Making I Hardcore You a beer which has been dry hopped four times, or maybe even six times. We kinda lost count.

Bottle shared by OleR. Cheers! Slightly hazy orange, massive creamy offwhite head which covers the glass walls as the liquid beneath is drained. Very fruity aroma, loads of tropical fruit notes, loads of sweetness as well. Apricots, citrus, something berrylike. Comes off as fresh and inviting. The first sip just strangles your tongue with bitterness. It’s not all there is though. There is a good deal of sweetness here too, but the bitterness comes off as kind of hot, almost spicy. Some alcohol in the finish. Carbonation is sparse, which fits it nicely. Medium bodied. This is raw, extreme, but feels so fresh and is so packed with flavours. Liked it a lot.

Bottle from Corks of Cotham, Bristol. Am yet to try the I beat you, but am a big fan of the hardcore so was expecting good things here and I’m pleased to say this collaboration didn’t disappoint. LIked the label. Looks like something the Gonz might have cooked up. Murky orange pour with a nicely lingering medium head. Bags of resin laden piney hops in the snout mingling with some juicy tropical fruit, lovely stuff. Great body and a super tasty flavour which revealed a stonking hop profile and cracking bitterness. Nice little alco kick towards the finish A pleasure to drink. Top notch. Want more.

magnificent beer.... I liked the i hardcore you, but it was missing some depth in the fruit/sweet department... this one has it all... terrifying malty nose complemented by lots of apple... taste is bitter, lots of malt again, apple, citrusfruits, caramel, liquorish... it has a long bitterssweet finish... it also feels alot thicker than the i hardcore you.... i absolutely must drink some mikkeller and more mikkeller brewdog crossover

Hazy orangey brown with a bit of white head. Sweet hoppy aroma is milder than I expected, but perhaps it’s an old bottle. Taste is sweet and boozy with indistinct hop character, and piney notes into the finish. Good, but not exceptionally so @ $7/12oz

From a bottle poured an amber color with a fair amount of head. Strong hoppy flavor with a lasting aftertaste.

Ugh, am I really still rating? Anyways. We just got this in the store, no dates on this one that I could find. Amber pour with a good sized off white head. Aroma of stale hops, grapefruit, and caramel. Flavor had the amazing orange tootsie pop complete with the caramel center that seems to come to the surface of most old and lifeless IPAs. Bitter finish, good carbonation. Why export this style?

Appearance: Pours a deep amber orange with a subsided head. Leaves behind creamy lacing.

Aroma: Toffee and apricot.

Taste: Toffee, caramel and orangey hops.

Mouthfeel: Sticky with moderate carbonation.

Overall: I really enjoyed this. The beer was very malty in the way Atlantic IPA or Stone Emperial IPA was. The hops still did a nice job balancing out that malt profile.

Bottle. Pours with a murky orange body and a large and lasting off-white head. Great lacing. Aroma is hoppy with notes of pine, orange and mango. A bit of caramel and marmalade as well. Flavors are pine, dry, brown sugar, medium fruitiness and some caramel. Light orange. Good bitterness. Lively bubbles. Decently dry finish. I was just at an IPA fest yesterday, and this beer would probably be towards the middle of the pack (maybe on the lowerside) of beers there.

11.2oz bottle from CBX. pours a hazy, cider-gold, with a one-finger, bright, white head and tight rings of lace. aroma is great with sugary, fruity hop notes of pink grapefruit, mango, apricots, and passion fruit with sweet floral esters, pine needles, and big toffee notes holding the hops in check with interesting notes of red berries as it warms. flavor is awesome as well with big, tropical fruit hop notes of of pineapple, apricot, and mango with citrus notes of pink grapefruit and tangerine backed by light caramel and pine esters with a hint of booze. palate is sticky, sweet and medium bodied with nice carbonation and a long, bittersweet, fruity hop finish. overall, another damn good dipa from the overseas ballers that are brewdog and mikkeller.
