4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20
Iím yet to be disappointed by both breweries and this one is no exception. And yet Iím still on the fence on this brew. A collaboration made in heaven or hell one might say. A copper hue. The head is fothy. It is hoppy. But the body seems scooped. Earthy and unearthly flavors collide. Frankly, it is exquisite and the same time kinda decadent. Its like it would fit perfectly at some fine dining place and at the same time some dark, seedy speakeasy. I like and dislike it at the same time. I think the genius and idea supercedes the brew, but still try it.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from Cornelius in 2013 I think. Clear amber, small slightly off white head. Massive sticky hoppy nose. Strawberry and soft fruit, thick mouth feel, oily and bitter. Really good.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draught, BrewDog Shepherdís Bush. Fresh batch (kegged 8 days prior to tasting).
Aroma of tropical fruits, caramel, toffee, pine, grapefruit. Rich orange/amber, clear, moderate off-white head that lasts reasonably. Big sweet caramel malt to start followed by rich fruits, then finishing long decent bitter. These hops are dank. Medium to full body, oily/sticky, moderate carb.
Have had this when itís old and itís a let down; so much better when itís fresh!

4.4 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Half from brew dog bar. Light amber with a small head. Incredibly fruity aroma with lychee, citrus peel and pine. Taste is sharp bitterness and lingering sour/sweetness. Prickly carbonation with medium body, alcohol heat as well. Very nice.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 5/20
Bottle 0.33l. Expected much more :-/. intermediate with aroma. Pretty clear solid gold colour with red reflection. Lightly. Not bitter as it is supposed to be. For me as it is imperial IPA, it is to sweet.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle, 33cL. Home. An orange beer with brown hues : gorgeous landscape. Medium white head. Good retention & lacing. Tropical fruity aroma, blackberry, resin. Light to heavy sugary sweet, then medium refreshing bitter. Medium body and texture, good carbonation, sweet finish with a bitter background. Overall, a good sweet>bitter ale, nice aroma. Weird but nice. I still prefer Hardcore IPA. I didnít drink yet the Mikkeller original one.

Bottled 330ml. -from Magic Beer Room Zagreb. Orange/amber coloured, small off-white head, piney hoppy nose. Sweet malty, caramel and fruits with piney hoppy notes. Unfortunately pretty strong sticky alcohol presence. Dry grapefruity hoppy finish. Expected better.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
UPDATED: AUG 11, 2014 Bottle from ’llepood nr 1 Gambrinus in Tartu (Ä 4,80), August 2014. Pours a deep, dark amber; tan top retains well and leaves lacing. Nose is intoxicating: strong pine resin, biscuits, ripe autumn fruits, citrusy, and only a slight alcoholic warmth that intensifies as it warms. Sweet, resinous taste, bitter; the warming finish is not exactly boozy but near there somewhere. Smooth, velvety texture, minimal carbonation; light to medium body and resinous, sticky palate. Great drinkability. Overall fantastic - exactly the kind of beer I adore -, though it would be even better with less booziness when itís warmed.
