Semplicemente una birra stellare, i tre birrifici artigianali più conosciuti in Europa che si uniscono per fare una birra e tra l’altro una delle più difficili da fare. Risultato: Imperial stout fantastica. ---Rated BY Italianbeer85

(15.2% abv bottle) Really nice pitch black body with a small sized dark brown head. Excellent malty aroma, with a sweet alcoholic opening, honey, caramel and chocolate, followed by a floral note with licorice and cinnamon. Full, harsh palate with decent carbonation and a slight alcohol burn. Great, relatively sweet malty flavour with dark chocolate, licorice and caramel, with an alcoholic finish. Sweeter and mellower than Tokyo* at least, a really good beer all in all.

Pitch black, weak head, not a lot of carbonation. Coffee bread creamy smell. Raisins and fruity. Apples, cookies, cinnamon, subtly alcoholic. Pepper. Bread. Taste is quite sweet. Lots of coffee. The sweetness is a bit overbearing. Spicy with a sweetish alcoholic finish. Oily and fizzy and dry. Astringent. Expected more.

Bottle from BottleDog, London. Poured a thick black, with a dense tan head. Huge aroma of dark rum, molasses, treacle and spice. Really thick, syrupy mouth feel. Massive complex flavours of golden syrup, coffee, roasted malt and liquorice. Finish was aniseed, espresso, vanilla pods, burnt sugar and burnt malt. Wonderful.

Absolutnie czarne z drobinkami chmielu na dnie. Piany w zasadzie brak, ale moc robi swoje dlatego nie ma się co dziwić. W aromacie kawa, czekolada i mocno alkoholowe cherry. Od razu czuć alkohol i ciało, którego jest cała masa. Wspomniany alkohol rozgrzewa przełyk. Czekoladowo kawowy smak z dodatkiem wiśni i rodzynek. Wysycenie średnie w stronę wysokiego. Goryczka też konkret.

UPDATED: JUL 24, 2014 0,33 l bottle from Craft Beer Store in Hamburg, Germany. 15.2% ABV. The 1000th particular beer I tried in my life. Opaque, deep black color with a small brownish head. Intensive bitter / alcoholic kick right from the start. Then the usual aromas for the style jump in - roasted malts, coffee (lots of it) dark chocolate, raisins. The aftertaste then becomes dry and bitter again. Beautiful drinking experience, even though it’s a bit too robust (and yeah, overpriced) for my taste.

Bottle @ bready, thanks vaiz! Aroma is huge liquorice, coffee, roast, burned molasses. Flavour is very roasty liquorice molasses coffee madness, hugely bitter and roasty yet sweet at the same time. Quite some alcohol in the finish. Long lingering roasty liquorice. Hefty but very nice.
