2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Copper body, medium to small head. Hoppy and boozy aroma with carrots and gin. Not very coherent. Taste has some burnt rubber with boozy carrots and gin. Finish is dry and bitter with hops. The big bitterness prevents you from detecting any other tastes or flaws there may or may not be. This is a big boozy DIPA and not so much a Barley Wine. Completely unbalanced. Now my palate is trashed and I can’t rate any more beers tonight. I liked their other collaboration barley wine "Bitch Please" a lot more.

3.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
330 ml bottle at home - pours golden amber with a fine eggshell white head. Aroma of super fresh hops (cheesy and weed :-)), guessing on Simcoe and/or Amarillo. The bitterness makes the body a tad sour, sweetness is not kicking through entirely, but there is a simmering smokiness as well (the typical Brewdog edge). Taste is hop pineness and dark choclate. Like it a lot, but would not categorise this as a typical barley wine.

Ipa especial, cerveza con mucho cuerpo y alta graduación ya que tiene 10,5 grados, color tostada y espuma poco densa, sabor fuerte debido a su graduación, muy buena cerveza

Bottled. A deep red beer with a tan head. The aroma has notes of fruits, caramel, and alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, alcohol, over ripe fruits, and malt, leadng to a dry alcoholic finish.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
5 month old bottle. Dark red / brown, a ring of bubbly white head. Aroma - slight pine, even slighter tropical fruit, alcohol based perfume. Body is medium, foamy, low carbonation. Taste - slight pine and toffee, really light on the flavour, alcohol comes through as the main flavour. Doesn’t come across as particularly hoppy...just sharp and alcoholic. Not a fan of this. A big disappointment.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle 33 cl. Pours a thick nutty broen with a beige head. Nose has a lot of nuts and christmas pudding as well as pretty severe alcohol. Rich and syrupy body, but there’s clearly a shitload of hops in there too for a rather hoppy finish. A very typical US-style Barley Wine - and a good one too. 200314
