10 Heads High is loosely based on our awesome 2011 Prototype beer Hops Kill Nazis. This is an uncompromising 7.7% Imperial Red Ale loaded high with American Hops. Think of this as an Imperial india Rd Ale, or a super-charged version of 5am Saint. Either way this is a seriously good beer!

Sweet and hoppy aroma. The taste however I find rather odd, bitter, a bit sweet and taste of old fruits. Is it oxidized?

Bottle. Almost clear red/copper liquid with small to medium off-white head. Aroma of pine, soap, citrus, grass, toffee, caramel, bread, tangerine and perfume. Taste is light sweet and medium bitter with notes of pine, soap, tangerine, toffee and perfume. A bit alcohol. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Not that good.

Keg at BD Shoreditch. Fruity smell with dried fruit. The taste had some tobacco or "snus" aromas. This is probably a hop variety as I get the same thing from Red Seal Ale. Meh beer.

Smak och doft av humle, malt, karamell, tropisk frukt med toner av russin och tall. Tydlig beska men lite ojämn i sitt framförande. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: SEP 4, 2013 330ml bottle, pours hazy dark amber with a small tan head. Pleasant somewhat fruity aroma of apricots, passion fruits and pine. Taste is surprisingly different, dominated by bitter hops and herbs or spices, just a hint of the fruits. This beer is too bitter and unbalanced for my taste, I would have like the fruits to stand out more.

(Bottle). Very strong smell and taste of hops with aromas of tropical fruits, spices, raisins and pine. The aftertaste is sweet and pungently hoppy and I experience it as a bit straggly and unbalanced.

Nowhere near the hop assault I recall from Hops Kill Nazis. In fact, not enough hops at all for my taste. Nice, but still somewhat disappointing. -- rated via 'Find A Beer' for Blackberry 10

0,33 l bottle, Brewdog Online Store.
Deep saturated red appearance with a medium creamy offwhite-tan head. Floral piney aroma with malt, some liquerice, forest. Fine body, well hidden alcohol. Flavor of some sweet but not too sweet malt, light cocoa, caramel. And the resinous, piney hop taste arrives slowly but rules the aftertaste. It was a really fine ale- i think. And yes, this is a double5am ;-)
