Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were hops, pine, malts, sweetness and bitterness. Afteraste was sweet and bitter. Way too sweet.

3.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
330ml bottle from BrewDog online shop (Ł2.69)
Very fruity but slightly sour aroma, with strong hints of Mango, Grapefruit & Pine. Subtle hint of burnt oak & Caramel. A dark red ale, more brown in appearance than red with a small off white head lingers. Low carbonation and laces to glass when swilled. Very sweet and fruity at first, and then the bitterness kicks in. A refreshing tropical kick at first, followed by a strong pine taste and a malty caramel bitterness. The bitterness is a bit overpowering as it lingers in the mouth. Definitely an amber ale of extreme sorts.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
330ml bottle from Good Spirits Co, Glasgow (Ł3.60):
A very strong, hoppy aroma that is loaded with caramel and malts as well as a whole host of fruity notes. There is some juicy tropical fruit smells with a pine and citrus helping out as well. Nothing overly complex, just a solid & good smelling beer.
Red to caramel brown, 0.5cm bubbly head that is off-white to light tan & settles as a tiny bit of patchy lacing.
Strong hops with the pine and tropical fruits from the nose coming through plus some grapefruit and more citrus flavours. There is some mango and the beer tastes refreshing for a moment until the bitter hops hit right at the end.
Slightly chewy with soft carbonation and a light medium body. The beer is incredibly bitter and although refreshing to begin with the beer ends up a little dry and with a alcohol laced finish that is very bitter.
Quite nice and has a good hop character as well as a very bitter, in your face taste that grabs your attention straight away. Probably not a go to beer but one that would be worth having again for sure.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Candy, lemonade and orange on the nose. Pours a ruby copper with a beige head. Flavour starts sweet but quickly gets fierce and fiery - so far so good - then pushes through into sharp, astringent and overpoweringly bitter. It’s too much. Brewdog may be starting to show signs of losing their way - always ones to walk that thin line between aspirational and anarchic, this may be the first sign that that line leads to beer that, whisper it, doesn’t stack up. Hmmm.

Brewdog Shoreditch. Almost clear deep amber beer. Tiny cream coloured head. Palate is crisp and semi dry. Light malt, trace of toffee. Minerals. Bitter grapefruit hops. Touch of red berry fruits, well buried. A little malt cream. Tiny bit of hop skunk. Minerally crisp finish. Comes together quite well.
