3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
clear brown, small light brown head.
quite malty aroma, also strong hops, ,strong malty aroma dominates, hops try to balance, but fail slightly.flavor is very nice , good hoppy bitterness, and lots of malts create a very nice slightly roasted base. If you are okay with a slightly sweet brwe, you’ll like this.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Curious maroon tinted amber, frothy off white head. Aroma is sherbet, candy, caramel, raisins, fruity hops. Flavour is initially dominated by bitterness, smothers everything else. Notes of caramel malt emerge as it warms. Thin body, not much carbonation. Another mad brew from brewdog

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tap at Brewdog Birmingham. Poured a cloudy dark treacle colour with a thin off-white head. The aroma is very weak dry malt and a little toffee. The flavour is strong bitter, with loads of zesty alcohol liqourice and a little resin on the somewhat smooth palate. Very drinkable and I did enjoy it, despite the dominance of the alcohol inspired liqourice.

330ml bottle - shared by Rosenbergh - thanks!
Super sweet aroma, plenty of fruits. More spicy and nettly in the mouth. A bit watery and yet sweet. Chicory. An odd mix of the watery and the potent. Has positives and negatives, but the positives just win.

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
33cl bottle. Deep red/amber with thin off white head. Lots of stewed red fruits in the aroma alongside caramel, woody notes, and shedloads of pine resin. Taste gives thick caramel, a lighter fruitiness, hint of chocolate, loads of bitter resinous pine, grapefruit and blood orange. Thinner than I expected - could do with a beefier body maybe. Long bitter pine and deep caramel finish. Cracking bitterness. Very good.
