COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
5am Saint is The Holy Grail of red ales. We live in a world of disposable deities. Someone, somehow has managed to press that big, flashing moronic override button and we’re hard wired straight into the pockets of false idols trying to make a quick buck. Sadly, for a lot of people the same mentality applies to beer. But who’s to know what’s worth worshiping when monolithic advertising budgets have you sucked down the rabbit hole in the blink of an eye? At BrewDog we are on a mission to open as many people’s eyes as possible. Cast away any aspersions and let the crook of BrewDog be your guide in a whirlwind of conformity and mediocrity. Once this ruby liquid forms a foamy halo around your glass, you’ll never want to look back.
Malts: Marris Otter, Crystal Malt Hops: Simcoe, Chinook, Nelson Sauvin, Centennial Twist: Loads of late hops and bucket-loads of dry hops

An amazing orange to red with a decent beige head, aroma of pine needles, lemon grass and a touch of bread and butterscotch, balance of straw to bread maltiness and piney hops with a fairly lemon acidity and low sweetness, finishes with a long tea, tobacco and bitter-sour aftertaste, medium bodied, quaffable great beer.

33 cl bottle, Sheffield, UK. Medium caramel amber colour, bright cherry hop aroma. Thick with a bitter hit then a long dry building finish of clove and pepper with some citrus balancing it out.

Bottle. Hazy orange amber, ropy, lacy off white head. Aroma is full of citrus and tropical fruit and pine. Flavour is the same, with a nice toffee malt base. A very flavorful amber, a top session beer to be sure. Right up there with Stone Levitation and Rogue American Amber.

Comunque grande birra!

This is probably one of my favorite BrewDog beers and on Cask it is so friggin good! I have never even had it in a bottle. A - Poured a beautiful red amber with orange hue when held up to light. A cream head that was only thin because they fill your glass here in the UK. S - Citrus, specifically lemon Lime and an even mixture of grassy hop bitterness. T - Fantastic blend of Citrus hop bitterness with malty sweatness. a bit of berry fruits and a clean aftertaste. Just a wonderful beer. MD - Smooth and easy, mild carbonation (on cask) medium to light heavy bodied, but not heavy on the palate. Everytime I have this I love it more than the last.

6- Very sweet fruity caramalty aroma.
3+ Clear rich copper, sparkler head.
5- Raw mashy taste, horribly underattenuated. Grassy.
2 Sticky palate, carbonation low. Finish grassy.
8 Ugh, bucket-loads of not good.

It pours a hazy amber color with a a 2 finger off white head that tends to linger around. It has an abundant of lacing on the sides. On the nose I am getting some light carmel notes and a hop spiciness. The flavor is a nice well balanced profile. I am getting carmel, toffee, pine, citrus. It is a little sweet at first but the nice dose of hops evens it out. It finishes with a nice light dry bitterness. This has to be the best amber ale I have had. There is something that just makes you keep reaching for another. I could easily session this. Well done guys.

Provata alla spina: birra ambrata con schiuma bianca. Al naso sentori di spezie soprattutto fruttato. All’assaggio soprattutto malto e il luppolo. Il finale è caratterizzato dall’amaro del luppolo che caratterizza gran parte delle birre BREW DOG. Molto beverina anche perchè poco gassata . Da provare.

Bottle, thanks to hobbersr. Pours clear amber, thick off-white head, great lacing. Nose is fucking excellent! Fabulously rich and layered hops; pine, spruce, grapefruit, just outstanding aromatics. Flavours are nicely bitter and balanced, with a solid caramel base, and mouthwatering bitterness throughout. This might be my favorite session ale ever!

Bottle. A very fruity aroma, some vanilla and malt, later on a little bit more bitter. The small pale beige creamy head has a normal duration, the body is dark orange. The taste is quite bitter, light fruity, some hops, very nice. The body is light, dry and creamy with a soft carbonation.
