5am Saint is The Holy Grail of red ales. We live in a world of disposable deities. Someone, somehow has managed to press that big, flashing moronic override button and we’re hard wired straight into the pockets of false idols trying to make a quick buck. Sadly, for a lot of people the same mentality applies to beer. But who’s to know what’s worth worshiping when monolithic advertising budgets have you sucked down the rabbit hole in the blink of an eye? At BrewDog we are on a mission to open as many people’s eyes as possible. Cast away any aspersions and let the crook of BrewDog be your guide in a whirlwind of conformity and mediocrity. Once this ruby liquid forms a foamy halo around your glass, you’ll never want to look back.
Malts: Maris Otter, Caramalt, Munich Malt, Crystal and Dark Crystal Malts
Hops:Cascade, Amarillo, Nelson Sauvin, Simcoe, Ahtanum, Centennial
Twist: Loads of late hops and bucket-loads of dry hops

Do i recommend it?: yeah, well if you want a quite funny beer to drink with alot of taste and sweetness ok. But it does not fully fold into my taste. Will I drink it again?: probably not in a couple of years. Maybe ice cold (god forbid) a warm summers eve ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

No jak BrewDog się za coś weźmie... Kiedyś piłem z butelki. Było ok. Teraz piłem z kija i było dużo lepiej niż ok!! Ładny, bursztynowo-miedziany kolor, biała, drobna piana. W aromacie dużo karmelu i orzechów, sporo nut chmielowych. W smaku także orzechy, karmel, a także nuty kwiatowe, owocowe. Do tego świetna, żywiczna goryczka. Baaardzo przyjemne piwo!!

Kolor: Czerwony, 100% klarowności.
Piana: Żółta, puszysta, średniooczkowa. Patrząc z góry pęka do dużych oczek. Dłogo się utrzymuje na powierzchni. Opada do solidnej chmurki. Maluje przepiękne malunki na krawędziach. Lacing wyborny.
Zapach: Dość intensywny owocowy zapach. Kombinacja owoców cytrusowych i tropikalnych.
W dalszej perspektywie odrobine kwiatowe i ziołowe. Na języku pełne, gęste i treściwe. Wysycenie średnie. Goryczka średniej maśni, żywiczno-owocowy umiarkowanie długi finisz. Ciekawy Amber Ale, z pewnością smaczny i stylowy.
Wysycenie: Średnie.
Czerwone Ale z wyraźną słodową bazą i karmelowym bouncem. Zniknęło dość szybko z firmowego BrewDog-owego Sniftera, więc o czymś to chyba świadczy.

Bottle from Dranken Verheyen in Poppel. The beer is amber colored and has a cream colored head, with lots of bubbles. The aroma is malty, fruity and hoppy with tones of flowers and grass and a lot of tropical fruits like lychee, berries, citrus, oranges and mango’s. Very nicely done. The taste is malty and very fruity, with some notes of burnt sugar. After that comes the hops and that gives the taste fruitiness and notes of grass and flowers. The finish is dry and spicy with a subtle bitterness.

Cloudy reddish copper color with a moderate amount of activity. Light creamy half a finger head, lasting around 5 to 10 minutes, with average legs. Flavors of nutmeg, cinnamon, roasted sweet grains, caramel, butterscotch, tropical fruits, faint molasses, and herbal spices. Bready with a faint grassiness. Slick medium body with almost perfect crispy carbonation. Light to medium finish that lingers with burnt caramel sweetness, faint ginger and a grassy end. Lots of sweetness but with a nice bitter sharpness that makes it very fresh. A complex mix of malty, grassy, and roasted flavors that is simply delicious and highly accessible. Overall I find this one of the best BrewDog craft. You could almost drink this in the morning...like I did.

5%ABV. Amber ale. Poured out dark amber. 16şSRM. Nose is sweet with treacle, honey and molasses in the nose but without the sour tang. A very clean sweet aroma, like nectar. Hint of bitter pine sap aroma. Mouthfeel is cough syrupy. Palate has an amber ale’s rounded fuller, nutty character. The back of the throat has that aroma-flavor of old leather which I associate with a nice amber. Hops are barely there. Finish is clean and lightly beery.
