COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
5am Saint is The Holy Grail of red ales. We live in a world of disposable deities. Someone, somehow has managed to press that big, flashing moronic override button and we’re hard wired straight into the pockets of false idols trying to make a quick buck. Sadly, for a lot of people the same mentality applies to beer. But who’s to know what’s worth worshiping when monolithic advertising budgets have you sucked down the rabbit hole in the blink of an eye? At BrewDog we are on a mission to open as many people’s eyes as possible. Cast away any aspersions and let the crook of BrewDog be your guide in a whirlwind of conformity and mediocrity. Once this ruby liquid forms a foamy halo around your glass, you’ll never want to look back.
Malts: Marris Otter, Crystal Malt Hops: Simcoe, Chinook, Nelson Sauvin, Centennial Twist: Loads of late hops and bucket-loads of dry hops

UPDATED: JUN 4, 2013 Very tasty beer. Amber brown look with creme, almost golden, froth. Looks very inviting. Smell is floral, citrus (grapefruit), hop, malts and sweet caramel. Flavor is likewise with a very nice body and well balanced sweetness and smooth bitter. Medium thick with a sugary nectar like texture and well balanced carbonation. Excellent beer!

Bottle from BrewDog online store. Dark ruby-copper, small white head, crystal malts, caramel, complex floral, fruity, citrusy hops, well balanced, medium body, dry but sweet finish. Really nice.

Bruine kleur (amber?), troebel, amper schuim , ruikt naar wijn, metalig en hoppig. Smaak bevalt me niet. Niet zoet, niet fris, weinig bitter. Niet mijn ding.

Red amber color, not 100% clear. Poor white head, no co2 at the sight. The aroma is citrus, hoppy and astringent. Body is watery, light. Bitter taste, surprisingly refreshing and clean aftertaste.

Bottle. Amber red color, little creamy head. Refreshing aroma of herbs with caramel tones. Taste was quite hoppy. Long bitter finish.

Quite possibly my favourite Brewdog Beer a lovely ruby red colour, not great head retention, a medium finish with a lovely fruity aftertaste I get plums. All in all a beer really worth seeking out, slightly better on draught than in the bottle.

On tap @ Brewdog Camden (Greater London). Almost clear amber with a medium beige head and heavy lacing. Aroma is hoppy and floral with caramel and fruity notes. Taste is floral with caramel, fruity notes, mint and no bitterness. Medium body. Medium carbonation. Petty good Amber Ale. Well balanced, tasty and drinkable.

A beautiful red ale. Aroma of tomatoes, sweet caramel, and fresh fruit. Taste of old toffee, caramelized cardboard, and tea.

Ruby red with cream orange head. Pleasant balance between rounded mal tines and aromatic hops, which give the beer a refreshing bitter note, but without being too invasive. A saint sinner for a warm midday.
