5am Saint is The Holy Grail of red ales. We live in a world of disposable deities. Someone, somehow has managed to press that big, flashing moronic override button and we’re hard wired straight into the pockets of false idols trying to make a quick buck. Sadly, for a lot of people the same mentality applies to beer. But who’s to know what’s worth worshiping when monolithic advertising budgets have you sucked down the rabbit hole in the blink of an eye? At BrewDog we are on a mission to open as many people’s eyes as possible. Cast away any aspersions and let the crook of BrewDog be your guide in a whirlwind of conformity and mediocrity. Once this ruby liquid forms a foamy halo around your glass, you’ll never want to look back.
Malts: Maris Otter, Caramalt, Munich Malt, Crystal and Dark Crystal Malts
Hops:Cascade, Amarillo, Nelson Sauvin, Simcoe, Ahtanum, Centennial
Twist: Loads of late hops and bucket-loads of dry hops

330ml bottle at end of best before. Pop the cap, great aroma of sweet juicy fruity hops. Aroma dies down in the glass head disappears quickly leaving some lacing. Taste is citrus hops but thin watery and muted. Underwhelming, but I will definitely try a fresh one if I find it.

Pours a clear red with a nice foamhead. Very malty in aroma and taste. Medium body and carbonation. A very good Red Ale, heavy on the malt but still balanced. A nice beer to go with red meat.o Bottle bought at Interspar Wienerstraße, Graz.

Listed as an amber ale, need a category for all the specialty ipa. Heavy hop flavors overpower the toasty malt profile.

Amber red color, citrus fruit and hoppy aroma, caramel, sweet tropical smell, little bit of lychee, sweet start and bitter end, nice drinkable refreshing ale

Узнавае& буйство красок и вкуса, менее яркое и приевше& не феномен& однако родное и близкое.

Pours cloudy brick brown red with a fat foamy yellow-white head that hangs with you. Aroma is a nice pungent fruit slam. Berries predominate, but also orange citrus and some hoppiness. Taste starts with mild berry and citrus notes and resolves into a mild hoppy bitterness. This all rides over a powerful grainy malt backbone. The backend is a meld of hops and malt. Fruit and hops are skewed to the front, leaving the beer a bit unbalanced. Still, a unique and very drinkable red ale. I would drink this again.

From bottle. Smelled great and drank with a complexity of balanced flavour that I really loved. Flavour itself was different from the norm, not delicious but good and intriguing. Would strongly recommend

Bottle from Brisbane Brewhouse. Pours crimson with modest head. The broad malt base is reminiscent of an Irish red, but with a hoppy kick. A most enjoyable brew, but I would like to try it closer to the source.

Color ámbar oscuro, espuma muy fina y breve. Aroma de malta y ligeramente cítrico. Sabor a malta, bastante dulce, caramelo, cítrico. Equilibrada. Cuerpo ligero, carbonatación fina y final amargo. Muy buena.
