COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
5am Saint is The Holy Grail of red ales. We live in a world of disposable deities. Someone, somehow has managed to press that big, flashing moronic override button and we’re hard wired straight into the pockets of false idols trying to make a quick buck. Sadly, for a lot of people the same mentality applies to beer. But who’s to know what’s worth worshiping when monolithic advertising budgets have you sucked down the rabbit hole in the blink of an eye? At BrewDog we are on a mission to open as many people’s eyes as possible. Cast away any aspersions and let the crook of BrewDog be your guide in a whirlwind of conformity and mediocrity. Once this ruby liquid forms a foamy halo around your glass, you’ll never want to look back.
Malts: Maris Otter, Caramalt, Munich Malt, Crystal and Dark Crystal Malts
Hops:Cascade, Amarillo, Nelson Sauvin, Simcoe, Ahtanum, Centennial
Twist: Loads of late hops and bucket-loads of dry hops

This is really good. The pour is dark amber, clear with a big condensed head that laces and stays around to the last gulp. Malty bread like aroma with some caramel in there. The flavor is very malty with a nice earthiness to it. It ends bitter. Finishes dry with a very nice after taste.

330ml bottle with a BB of 25/3/16 Didn’t get any oxidized character in the nose though. Poured red-brown with a good head. The initial bitterness quickly disappears - not much body and a bit thin on the palate. Also maybe a touch sour but this is prob due to the age of the bottle.

Served in a tulip from a 330ml bottle. Pours clear ruby-red with a thin off-white head. Aroma is citrus hops, caramel and some malts. Taste is very similar to the nose - citrus hop and caramel, subtle bitter short-lived aftertaste. Slightly watery body with medium carbonation. Quite a simple hoppy brew, nice and refreshing!

En meget sřd řl der har en en del underlig syrlighed i slutningen af řllen. Ellers god.

Surprisingly simple beer. Refreshing clear and some aroma but no deepness here! I was a bit disappointed but that’s my problem!

Dark transparent red with a little white head. Nice to look at. Intensive aroma of flowers and fruits. Light body. Starts moderatly sweet and gets overwhelmed by a very pleasant bitterness towards the end. Incredible drinkable. One of the beers that stands up to the hype that surrounds them.

Aroma: elderberry, citrus, floral, grass, tropical fruits, some caramel. As always the aroma of this beer is amazing. Appearance: amber, slightly hazy, white head, ok retention. Taste: similar to aroma but with more malt presence that takes on caramel, gentle bread. light sweetness, light-medium bitterness. light body, slick feel, slightly oily feel, average carbonation. Finish is long and smooth. Overall: Hard to beat after a few years of drinking all sorts of beer. Nicely balanced, drinkable, great aroma, taste. This one started it all for me. Thanks Brewdog

Pours clear red with an off white head. Love the aroma, slightly malty, pine and grapefruit. Perfect balance of malty sweetness, bitterness. Hoppy taste with blood orange taste. Low carbonation. Really like this beer and would happily have more!

Teljesen átlátszatlan, mélyvörös színű. Habja kicsi, és az is gyorsan eltűnik. Illata nagyon hasonlít a Dead Pony-ra, kifejezetten cideres. Rögtön a keserűssége vág mellbe, kortyérzete malátásan, lecsengése pörkölt jelleggel, pici citromos mellékzöngével. Utóíze stout-os, hosszan tartó. Közepesen telt érzetű. Némileg módosított, kicsit erősebbre készített Dead Pony, de az jobban ízlett.

Clear amber color with off-white head. Aroma of caramel, pine, hops and grapefruits. Taste is malty sweet with good amount of hops. Leaves quite thin. Herbs and citrus in aftertaste. Decent
