COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
5am Saint is The Holy Grail of red ales. We live in a world of disposable deities. Someone, somehow has managed to press that big, flashing moronic override button and we’re hard wired straight into the pockets of false idols trying to make a quick buck. Sadly, for a lot of people the same mentality applies to beer. But who’s to know what’s worth worshiping when monolithic advertising budgets have you sucked down the rabbit hole in the blink of an eye? At BrewDog we are on a mission to open as many people’s eyes as possible. Cast away any aspersions and let the crook of BrewDog be your guide in a whirlwind of conformity and mediocrity. Once this ruby liquid forms a foamy halo around your glass, you’ll never want to look back.
Malts: Maris Otter, Caramalt, Munich Malt, Crystal and Dark Crystal Malts
Hops:Cascade, Amarillo, Nelson Sauvin, Simcoe, Ahtanum, Centennial
Twist: Loads of late hops and bucket-loads of dry hops

Redbrown with good yellow foam. Nice flowery aroma with a hint of orange. Malty taste with a nice fruity taste. Strong bitter aftertaste that lasts somewhat. medium to light mouthfeel with good carbonate. Overall a great beer

Bottle 33cl from le Barboteur, Schaerbeek. I was expecting more from this one, it lacks a bit of everything. Not bad for a red ale though.

Tropical and sort of a Rummy fruit. I'm not normally a red beer fan but this is a great alternative to someone that wants great full flavor without being hoppy. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Pours clear amber with beige head. Aroma is malty, toasty subtle fruits, subtle hops. Taste is malty, slight toast and subtle fruity hops. Kind of bready. Light body, slight bitter with some dry toasty malts in finish. NOT MUCH CHAOS!

Genuine russet red. Thin head. Smells sharp and fruity. Really sweet caramel malt cut through but a light acidity and some hops. Some marzipan and cherry like a Dr Pepper. Getting some cocoa and cut grass. Loads going on with this and it’s good for the style...but I just don’t like it that much.

Pours dark amber. Aroma is mostly honey, with a hint of dandelion. Taste is watery and bittersweet. Finish isn’t long.

Appearance: pours with a medium beige head, the beer is a very hazy bronze color that isn't transparent Aroma: strong caramel malt, spicy rye perhaps hard to pick up much else Taste: lightly toasted caramel malt sweetness with that gentle Scottish taste to it, has a very slight bitterness on the finish, very faint grain Palate: has a light mouthfeel, minimal caramel and bitter aftertaste, lively carbonation Overall: not a bad beer, has that Scottish feel to it throughout, sessionable ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
