Very good low alcohol beer. Golden, white head. Kind of mild with malty not so bitter taste. Grassy notes in taste and smell.

Golden colour with a small white head. Fruity nose. Hoppy and fruity flavour. Suprisingly good, considering it is only 3,4%. Fresh and nice beer for an early dinner etc. A lot better then some of the standard pilsner/pale lagers.
[Bottle from Coop Konsum in Strömstad, Sweden]

Scopey (1659) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 21, 2012
Bottle. It pours clear golden yellow, with a thick white head. The nose is grass, sweet malt, dough and some soft fruit. The taste is much the same as the nose - grass, sweet malt, tinned fruit, bread, metal (from carbonation) and some floral notes, with a bitter-dry finish. Light body and moderate carbonation. Better than your typical macro lager for sure, but nothing special.

Golden beer, bottle from a Strömstad supermarket. Lightweight, sure, and rather thin. But there is a decent dose of hops in this, so if you want a low alcohol lawnmover beer, this is a good choice. The paradox is that this is slightly more expensive than a more spohisticated beer like ZeitGeist in Swedish Systembolaget.

_angst_ (996) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JAN 3, 2012
330 ml bottle bought @ local supermarket and consumed on January 3. Pours pale golden with a big frothy white head that slowly dissipates while leaving lots of trace on the glass. Smell is quite pleasant with caramel, orange zest, grass and some bread. Taste is malty sweet with lemon zest, orange juice and freshly cut grass. Finish is slightly sweet and slightly bitter. Well balanced.
