3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottled. Pours out in a clear honey colour with a small firm white head. Lemon-zest, grapefruit-peels and straw in the aroma with metallic edges. Medium-bodied with touches of biscuit, straw, lemon-rind and grass. Medium-bitter finish of orange-peels and grass on a foundation of biscuit.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Finally, a BrewDog at my local Blå Rock Café in Tromsø and also available from Vinmonopolet. Almost clear golden body covered by a thin, but persistent white head. Rounded smell of citrus fruits. Mild orange shells in flavour nicely coupled with bready malts. Gentle bitter finish. Dry and oily velvet in the mouth. Medium bodied. Good drinking (330ml bottle from Vinmonopolet at home 03.11 and a bottle at blårock where they usually play some good old fashion punk rock like Teenage Kicks etc., Tromsø 05.11.2009).

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Golden yellow with orange hues and a white head that settles after a while and leaves some lacings.
The smell is malty with notes of oranges, grass and butterscotch.
The taste is very sweet for the style. Malts, white bread, butterscotch, grass, sweet orange notes. The finish has some bitterness to it, leafy hop notes and a hint of minerals. Boring and some flavors seem off.
Light body, medium carbonation. Feels sheep.
Not a good pilsner. Slightly unbalanced with some off-centered flavors.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
11-NOV-2009. bottle @Hotel Skansen, Bästad.
Light golden with some orange to it and a nice off-white head.
I don’t know what to expect with a lager from Brewdog, so I stick my nose in the glass, and it smells like lager (!), just better:-)
More bitterness, more malts. No way near a pale ale, just a nice lager.
Quite fruity with some charamel.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Aroma: smells nice. Reminiscent of punk. Fresh, fruity hops. More lager quality of course –grains. Slightly harsh.
Flavour: good, but a bit bland. Neutral grain. Some hops with an astringent but overal very mild character. Descent session beer I guess. But then, Punk is a much better session beer. Sorry, no point in comparing the two.Slightly sourish. Pilsner-type.
Appearance: Honey coloured, clear body with some bubbly, milky, thick head that sets quickly.
Palate: soft, good, actually. Milky and fluffy.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: JUL 23, 2011 33cl bottle from Systembolaget. It poured a golden orange colour with a huge white foamy head that settled down fast in the glass. Aroma is fresh with notes of lemon, grass and some hops. The flavour is a bit dry with notes of citrus and grass. It has a medium long aftertaste.
The girlfriend also liked this beer.
When I saw that 77 Lager was available at my local supermarket on cans (4-pack) I had to pick up a couple. ABV is now 4.7%.
Some gushing when opening the can. Aroma and flavour is really not different from the bottle. No metallic notes whatsoever. Looking forward to trying other BrewDog beers on cans in the future.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
A nose of citrusy hops and soap. Taste is of lemon, iron, grass and a tiny bit of yeast. Finish is a little adicic and dry. Some bitterness is decernible. A descent brew, but it feels like brewdog should focus less on image, and more on substance sometimes.

Light brown. Small head. Aromatic fragrance with lots of fruit and woody tones. A rounded bitter flavor, fruity and malty; some sugar. Very drinkable, very enjoyable.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle, from Tesco, Cleethorpes. Gold, thin but lasting white head and gentle condition. Pleasant grain and solid citrus hoppiness in the nose, excellent citrusy sweet hoppiness in the mouth with a good balance of background grainy malt, lingering assertive but restrained chalky hop bitterness in the finish.
