3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
33cl bottle. Clear golden orange with light carbonation and a medium, mostly dissipating white head. Sweet citrus notes of lemon and grapefruit with a grassy, piney character backing up the sweetness. A dry, piney, grapefruity bitterness with a finish that just goes on and on and on... and on. A good amount of carbonation adds to the dryness while keeping the mouthfeel crisp and refreshing with a medium body.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Small white head doesn’t last. Yellow body. Fruity strawy grassy aroma, harmonic, strong, and fresh. Dry resiny strawy taste with powerful grapefruit notes. Mid-bodied. Sharpish mouthfeel. Harmonic, clean, and fresh palate. Dry resiny strawy aftertaste with grassy grapefruity notes. Interesting. Like a cross between an APA and a pils. Quite bitter. (0.33l bottle at Dr. Jekyll’s Pub, Oslo.)

Bottle@Øl&Mat 09, Oslo. A thin layer of foam over a copper/gold colored body. Low aroma level, yet crisp and fresh. Dry malts, grassy and fruity hops. Taste has a dry and clean grainy maltiness, with a bold hop profile. Grass and fruit again, also some earthy tones and a dash of citrus. Supercrisp in the mouth. Light to medium body. Dry, hoppy finish. Nice stuff.

Pours clear, dark golden with a nice, big, creamy, white head. Aroma has butter (just a tad too much), grainy malt, light grass. Prickly, highish carbonation, great mouthfeel. Sweet doughy malts, grassy hops. Very firm bitterness. Really long aftertaste. Great bitter/sweet balance. Nice.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from the brewery, at home with tashi and renffisch, 11th July 09. Standard lager looks but infinitely more flavoursome than any macro-brewed product. This is going to become a regular beer for me!
