Bottle from Tesco. Gold, white head, usual appearance for style. Little bit of floral and citrus with balanced hops and malts. If we as a nation are going to be obsessed with lager and pilsener’s, I wish some pubs would ditch the rubbish and stock this. Nice enough.

330ml bottle from Tesco. Copper coloured with white head that resolves to a thin layer. Lovely aroma - a mix of citrus and floral hops, a little butter and some peppery/spice in the background. The floral and citrus aromas carry over to the flavours with juicy maltiness and a big hoppy kick. Long bitter finish. A light, balanced palate makes it an excellent partner to spicy foods.
