3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 Rune (6125) - Tromsø, NORWAY - JUN 30, 2011
375ml bottle, No.2347, topped with a black cork and a wire cradle, bought at Cornelius in Edinburgh in Dec. 2010. Gave a good shot with smoke when opened. Partially gushing, but I had the glass ready so nothing was spoiled. Amber coloured body with sediments floating around. Beige, bubbly head. Smell of canned strawberries. The flavour develops from strawberries to raspberries added by caramel malts. Tart and sweet. Refreshing and dangerously easy to drink (shared with Finn at a session in Tromsø, 29.06.2011).
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 oh6gdx (18575) - Vasa, FINLAND - JUN 7, 2011
Bottled@Monks Café Wallingatan, Stockholm. Deep rubyish amber colour with a mediumsized white head. Fountain warning when opening. Aroma is a lot of strawberries, raspberries along with some spices and mild wooden and vanillaish notes. Flavour is quite similar, but also has rather much alcohol in it as well. Quite nice brew.
3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 phredrik (986) - Copenhagen (formerly Aalborg), DENMARK - JUN 7, 2011
Bottle 2786/3200. BEWARE, EXTREME GUSHER. The Eyafjällajökull of beer. Copper pour with some off white head. Aroma has lots of strawberries and raspberries, concentrated berry juice, yoghurt, caramel, wine gums, some alcohol, hints of citrus and white wine. Taste has the lot of whisky of which there was no sign in the aroma. Alcohol, raspberries, strawberries, black currant and candy after that. Hints of caramel and wood. Very differently tasting from the aroma.
Too bad to pay 20 bucks for a beer and lose half the bottle to gushing.
3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 RasmusOtt (867) - Aalborg, DENMARK - JUN 7, 2011
Huge GUUUSH.. allmost half of the beer was lost.. Pours copper with a beige head. Aroma is candy like strawberry and rasberry, sweet vinous notes, light alcohol, sweet orange and some jelly gum. Taste is woody whiskey notes, sour fruity notes, some strawberry, rasberry and some wine.
4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 Ethereal (2399) - Los Angeles, California, USA - MAY 30, 2011
Taster from bottle, at Brewdog event at the Rake, 7th Sept 2010. Bright orange with little to no head. Nose has tart raspberry and strawberry with a slightly oxidised edge. Definite contrast between the sour strawberry and the tart, fresher raspberry flavours. There is toasted marshmallow and other whisky & oak flavours here too. The strong alcohol is present but held in check for a balanced finish. I definitely prefer this to the base Zephyr.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 traPISSED (91) - São Paulo, BRAZIL - MAY 19, 2011
37.5cl bottle at home. Strawberry yogurt aroma with lots of strawberries and raspberries on the nose. The taste is very similar and is very balanced. The strength cannot be tasted. The palate is quite oily but it does not detract from the beer. I’d love to see how the fruit will change over time with this brew.

My love affair with all things Brewdog continues. I really liked it. A gift from a friend, unpexcted too which always makes it a little better. Pours red amber with a thin off white head. Aroma of raspberries, Christmas ckae, marzipan. Some malts in the flavour, alcohol very well hidden. Enjoyed it.

Bottle @ DØE meeting. Pours slightly hazy golden with a pinkish tone, offwhite head with some greyish segments af yeast / fruit. Strong aroma of sweet fruit, primery raspberries, some cherries, yeast, sugar. Taste is not nearly as sweet as aroma wich for me is good, raspberries is still dominant, yeast, bitternotes of oak, light whiskey. Thin to medium body, high lively carbonation. 200411
