3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Neeskens (327) - SWEDEN - APR 10, 2011
Amber orange with a off white head. Yeast and raspberry in the nose, quite refreshing. Same in the taste with a very bitter finish. Not as good as expected and the the iggest bang for your bucks. Interesting but too bitter comparred to the body.
2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 TheJestersBeer (1667) - SWEDEN - APR 9, 2011
Bottle #239.
Pours a medium ruby-amber, with lots of yeast sediment suspended in the beer, white head.
The nose is full of raspberries and red fruits, with notes of licorice, wood, vanilla, dried apricots, tobacco, oxidized hops.
Off-dry, medium body, medium bitterness.
Fruity taste, lots of raspberries, wood, licorice, spices, burning alcohol, slightly acidic.
Interesting idea, but the long wood ageing has dried out this beer way too much, leaving a thin, metallic, woody, alcoholic shell with gobs of red berries, and an unbalaned bitter finish. (2011-04-09)

375ml bottle split with mcberko. Pours a cloudy dark red/orange with a large white head. Aroma of red berries and whisky. Quite tart and sour which was good, but not my favourite of the series.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 ekstedt (4544) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - APR 2, 2011

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 gnoff (6320) - Mölndal, SWEDEN - APR 2, 2011
375 ml bottle, thanks to Nisse666! Bottled 08.09.10, sampled on April 1, 2011 Bottle 174 of 3200 Clear copper color, small tan head. Smells like sloe berry mixed with sugar. Sweet raspberry taste. Bitter aftertaste. Dry medium mouthfeel, high dry bitterness. Nice tart fruitiness, I like it. Though would be nicer still if the alcohol level was brought down quite a bit so you could drink it rather than sip it.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 tkrjukoff (3360) - SWEDEN - APR 2, 2011
Courtesy of Nisse666. Pours cherry red with minimal bubbly pink head. Aroma is rasberry, cranberry, tart sour hoppy. Berry sour Mouthfeel. Flavor is rasberry, alcohol, thin body, chemical, a bit odd. Medium Palate. Finishes fruity and very tart, doesn’t really mix well.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 mcberko (4056) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 29, 2011
375mL bottle, pours hazy dark reddish orange with a towering white head. Strong aroma of strawberries, raspberries, wood, whiskey and booze. Flavour brings out a balanced combination of the above-mentioned berries and wood / whiskey - booze is definitely prominent, though well-worked in for being 10.5%. Slightly tart / sour notes that linger along with the barrel aged qualities. Probably one of the weaker in the Abstrakt series, though this is a damn well made barrel aged fruit beer.
3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20 stobbe74 (3788) - DENMARK - MAR 28, 2011
Bottle. Pours a clear and brown beer with a weak head. The aroma is malt, cherries, sweetness and notes of alcohol. The flavor is cherries, a lot of alcohol and acidity. The palate is acidic with alcoholwarmth. Overall this beer has too much alcohol.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20 coldbrewky (1319) - Hippetown East, New York, USA - MAR 27, 2011
Corked and caged 330 hand bottled by Reakt and sent in trade a good while back. Pours nearly an electric orange and a clear as a bell thicker off white head. Steady thin carbonation. Nose of tart fruit. Like a cricket bat to the face the oak overpowers the malt. I let it breath a bit and it toned down a fair pace. Still pretty darn tart, but some thin malt tones survive as the booziness makes an asserted appearance. finish is sudden. Looking in the bottle for more.
