Bottle at JohnMurdoch, thanks for sharing! Black colour, beige head. Aroma is nice roasted malts, coconut, little sweetness, coffee. Flavour is very sweet,sugary, fruits, cola, highly carbonation. Way too sweet.

Bottle from Peckham’s Rye. Strong sweet coffee malty chocolate aroma. Almost black colour, tan head. Strong sweet sickly chocolate malt flavour, sour aftertaste. Not my thing.

Bottle @ Odense Tasting, May 2011. Pours black with a creamy beige head. Coffee roast, ashes and soy. Sweet. Dark fruit, cocoa, sugars and caramel. A bit cloying like Dark Horizon 2/3.

Botella en Kitsch (Vitoria). El sabor a coco es muy sútil, el de cacao le gana por enteros...y por mi mejor. Quizá puede resultar algo cargante y excesiva a medida que vas bebiéndola. Pero repetiría, sin duda.

Bottle @ DØE meeting. Pours black with no head. Aroma of port, sweet dark dried fruit, plums, maderia, cocus, roasted malt, sugar. Taste is sweet and with deserwinelike notes, port and maderia, plums, roasted malts, sweet chocolate and light cofffee, light cocunut. Full bodied, low ( no ) carbonation. Not a beer i could drink a pint of ( heh, both price and ABV prevents that too ) but for a sipper its wonderfull. 200411

Bottle… Pours black with little to no head. The aroma is a marriage of blackstrap molasses, licorice, vintage port and pecan pralines. Full-bodied and fatty with modest carbonation. The flavor is sweet and vinous with notes of dark chocolate, brown sugar, espresso and blackstrap molasses. Sweet, chocolaty, brown sugar finish. The word “sweet” is used far too often in this rating… hence, this brew is just too sweet for me to fully enjoy. Still, a fine offering. Kudos to the ever-generous darkguardian for my sample!

UPDATED: SEP 17, 2011 Cervesa cremosa i espectacularment sedosa. Ho té tot. De lo millor que he probat. Ideal per a postres. Llàstima que només hi hagin 3600 botelles en el món. Molt difícil d’aconseguir. L’elegància transformada en cervesa.

Pitch black colour. Roasty malty very dark fruity aroma, sweet with some smoke too and alc. Good mouthfeel. Quite sweet roasty malty dark fruity vinious flavour, some chocolate too. Thanks Pinball for sharing.

Clear dark black brown color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is heavy malty, roasted, burnt, caramel, coffee, cacao, dried fruit, smoke notes. Flavor is heavy sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a long long duration, sweet sugar, dark malt, chocolate malt - cacao. Body is medium, texture is oily and sticky, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20110401]
