3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Probably should have drank this on it’s own as this followed the 04.
Nose is nice as got good notes of fruit, chocolate and coconut.
Rest went downhill quite fast as quite sweet and syrupy. needed carbonation to lift this. Chocolate cake on crack I though. Slick, sweet and syrupy. Needed more dryness

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
1st March 2011
Opaque black beer, little tan head. Sweet coffee and dark malt nose. Soft and surprisingly light palate. Sweet dark malts, traces of coffee, chocolate and sweet brandy. The coconut is pretty subtle and on the back of the tongue. Trace of red berry fruits in the mid. Some aniseed alcohol but no real heat. Semi dry finish. Sweet, tasty and well joined up beer. Should be even better in a year or two.

3.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Pitch black. Roasted nuts, cocos, dark chocolate and a hint of ash in the aroma. Very sweet flavor with rye bread, cocos, chocolate, roast, speculaas and hazelnuts. No carbon. The oversweet flavor is a disappointment after the fine aroma.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Popped the cork that did not "Pop" and Poured pitch black with little head turning to film rather quickly.
Aromas of dark malty goodness, toasted coconut, roast nuts, fruit cake, anise, sweet spices and alcohol
SWEET TALLAHASSEE ! ! ! (as my friend Arty says) It’s like a dessert in a glass. Burnt Sugars, brown sugar, chocolate, coconut, syrup, dark fruits, cake and then more sweetness. There is a bit of bitterness but it is no match for all the sweetness and throws the balance off completely.
Carbonation was lighter than expected which was not a bad thing but the body could have been much fuller and richer especially for what I expected from such a sweet decadent beer.
I have really loved the AB series and am a Brewdog Fan. I had high expectations and was not impressed. Well made and I love what they do but not this time so much.

Bottle at the Mikkeller Bar Copenhagen. Well, you will probably either love or hate this "beer" but just to be difficult ... Im on the fence! There's no head and no lacing on this very dark beer. It's jam packed full of flavours for sure and the coconut and cacao are very evident. It's very smooth and quite refined, but it's no refreshing session beer thats for sure. Your taste buds will be dancing without doubt, but whether they will be dancing your dance only you can decide. Give it a try and form your own opinion.
