2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 12/20
wow. this beer is amazing. its literally undrinable. this makes black tuesday drink like 7up. decent aroma and start to the flavor, but man this is the epitomy of cloying. get cumulatively worse with each sip. dont really know what they were thinking here, theres really no arguement that this this a good beer for drinking. tasting and rating, maybe. actually drinking and enjoying, not at all.

UPDATED: SEP 27, 2012 200411@DØE Århus Syd Brewdog meating. A powerful, heavy Belgian inspired Imperial stout, aged in toasted coconut flakes and cocoa. Classical stout flavor without being flashy game. Very sweet, almost like a Christmas beer. Must be drunk alone, as it is too violent even as a dessert beer. However, in perfect balance. This beer is a dessert in itself. Delicious winter beer with a rare strong taste that is in perfect balance. Good creamy cocoa flavor, but where is coconut.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
375 ml bottle. Pitch black liquid with small tan head. Aroma of dark chocolate, coffee, belgian esters, dark berries and maybe very light coconut. Taste is sweet with medium bitterness and lots of chocolate and coffee. Quite burnt. Full bodied with light carbonation and smooth mouthfeel. Quite good imp stout, not boozy at all but not one of the best I’ve had. Balanced.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pitch black with large brown foam that vanishes in an instant. Milk chocolate, light vanilla, bananas, some cacao and wood notes(coconut?) in the nose. Alcohol is present both in the smell and taste in a bad way, body is full and the rest of the taste complex but very sweet, too sweet. The sugar is overtaking and the alcohol to high, a bad combination. I wouldn’t want more then a small glass if even that.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Black with a sizzling, dark brown head that quickly disappears to nothing - like coke or julmust.
Aroma: roasted, toffee and butter, alcohol, chocolate.
Taste: sweet, salty, chocolate, tobacco, toffee, some kind of liqueur.
Maybe a bit oily mouthfeel, still, liqueurish.
Kind of interesting, but unbalanced and too sweet.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: JUN 9, 2012 Bottle #2067. Extermely hard to open until I used a wine opener... Pours really dark with a frizzy carbonation. Roasted tones of chocolate and burned sugar. Hints of coconut makes this a quite stable but yet a bit to sweeet imperial stout. Overall too sweet

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from Mane Liquor. Pours an oily jet black with a small tan ring for a head. Definitley unique. Aromas of cocoa, slight tar, and coconut milk. Starts off with rich cocoa, slight tar and liquorice in the background, then finishes just like coconut milk. Alcohol creeps through to show its right there. Unique and decent
