Bottle 375ml @ Geokkjer
Pours pitch black with no head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, coffee, cacao, molasses and soya sauce. Taste is heavy sweet and light bitter with a long sweet roasted chocolate and a warm alcohol finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

375 ml bottle shared by bsuedekum- thanks again, Blake! Bottled 20.02.09, number 2929/3600. Pours a deep, opaque brown color with a small dark tan head. Aroma of rich chocolate, molasses, charred oak, vanilla, coconut, and coffee. Flavor of molasses, dark fruits, caramel, fudge, coconut, vanilla, and oak- not as roasty as the nose. Medium-full bodied, with a smooth, sweet mouthfeel and low carbonation. 12.5% ABV is totally masked. Really rich and smooth and nice.

Bottle, courtesy of Meilby. Pours black with a beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, soy sauce, brown sugar,some mineral oil and caramel. flavor is sweet and roasted with some soy sauce, chocolate, fruitiness, alcohol, ash and malt.Medium to full body ,average carbonation.

38cl, new exclusive Scottish brew Anno 2011, thx to Jeppe!, very complex sweet Stout, too sweet, heavy, not balanced, hazy, nearly no head, good brew, yet very expensive!

Pours pitch black color with small beige head. Aroma of tar, syrup, caramel malts, sugar candy, vanilla and berry notes. Flavor of sweet sugar candy, caramel malts, toffee, vanilla, mild roasted malts and dark chocolate. Very sweet and sticky palate with very faint sourish berry nyances. hmph.

375mL bottle at The Bishop Arms Folkungagatan, pours jet black with just a few bubbles of brown head. Aroma screams coconut upfront, followed by decadent cocoa notes. The coconut and cocoa are pretty much the main two qualities on the nose. Flavour is intensely sweet, almost sickly sweet, but somehow fitting, with notes of coconut and cocoa upfront, a little caramel, and lots of residual sugars. This is fairly cloying in sweetness, but somehow it works. These uber-sweet impie stouts are usually detracting to me, but this one feels elegant and complex. Excellent stuff. Perhaps only second to Abstrakt AB:04 in the series. Inexplicably great.

Pours a black colour without a head. Aroma of roasted malts, dark chocolate and coffee. Flavour of roasted malts, dark chocolate, sweet berries, coffee, coconut and some wood. Wine-like. Full bodied, oily mouthfeel and a roasty, sweet and berry-driven finish. Soft carbonation. A bit too sweet, but still really tasty.

Aroma is roasted and slightly sweet with cocoa. Flavour is oversweet with sugar and cocoa. Smooth palate. Some stinging alcohol starts to occur at the end of the glass. Like AB:04, but without the chili.

Bottle. Pours a pitch black beer with a weak chocolate head. The aroma is malt, sweetness and coffee. The flavor is malt, sweetness, roasted and alcohol. The palate is sweetness and alcohol. Overall a good beer.
