Bottle. Pours out in an opaque black colour with a rich thick pale brown head. Strong and really sweet aroma of caramelized sugar, milky chocolate, coconut milk, black chocolate, black cherries and brown sugar with hints of peppery alcohol. Full-bodied with strong sweet notes of chocolate sauce, coconuts, brown sugar, loads of dark malts, fudge, toffee and caramelized sugar. Thick and really chewy mouthfeel. Long sweet finish of milky chocolate, sweet Turkish coffee, caramelized sugar and coconuts.

Backlog. Tasted at a vertical tasting of the first six abstracts released. Bottles from Systembolaget. Slightly too sweet for me.

Bootle at home traded with Nick for an AB:06 ages ago. Aroma is sweet brown sugar, muscavado sugar and toffee. Dark brown black pour clear with no head. Really viscous sryupy pour legs. Flavour is sweet toffee, brown sugar and soft roast. some coconut maybe? Maybe aged this one too much. Some earthy coffee bean in the finish. Palte is full and sweet sticky with low carbonation. Hides the the alcohol well. Tasty, maybe a bit too sweet.

Taster from a 37.5cl bottle at La Cantinetta, Rimini. It pours a deep black color with basically no head. Aroma is big on roasted malts, toasted coffe beans and light coconut notes. Little residual sweetness. Taste confirms the little sugars left and great balance of this beer with big coffee and roasted notes. Then some toasted coconut emerges and the finish is bitter with loads of coca. Mouthfeel is quite thick with soft carbonation. Overall, very good IS

Bottle. Pours opaque black with a small, fizzy beige film head? Disappears fast. Aroma has sweet malts, vinious, coconut, mild chocolate. Low carbonation, oily and dry mouthfeel. Flavour is very sweet, sticky, coconut. Mild roasted with some clear coconut.

Corked 37.5 cl bottle @ home (bottle #1234). Pours black with some sediment and no head. Aroma and flavour is coconut, vanilla, chocolate, and coffee – with a sweet and slightly alcoholic finish.

Soft brown body, slight off white head. Easy coco milk, soft spice. Tense charred bitterness with harsh lactosey finish.Big rusty amber body with boozy listless head. Coppery nose, firey. Dense oily, oxidsed boozeage slips away to floral rustiness. Crystalled throughout, keeping it steely and narrow. Terse finish, mapely

Bottle. Black with little tan head. Aroma of licorice and ovaltine. Taste of licoroce and alcohol, some dark fruits. Very sweet and a little rough. Not as bad as it was when it came out but still not great.

375mL bottle at The Bishop Arms Folkungagatan, pours jet black with just a few bubbles of brown head. Aroma screams coconut upfront, followed by decadent cocoa notes. The coconut and cocoa are pretty much the main two qualities on the nose. Flavour is intensely sweet, almost sickly sweet, but somehow fitting, with notes of coconut and cocoa upfront, a little caramel, and lots of residual sugars. This is fairly cloying in sweetness, but somehow it works. These uber-sweet impie stouts are usually detracting to me, but this one feels elegant and complex. Excellent stuff. Perhaps only second to Abstrakt AB:04 in the series. Inexplicably great.

Black, almost no head. Candy aroma, chocolate and coco toffee cream goodies. The taste is less coco and more soy sauce and madeira, some sort of weird liquor filled chocolate? Low carbonation, medium mouthfeel. Tokyo light?

Pours thick and black. No carbonation. Nose has massive amounts of chocolate. Taste is smoot, rich and chocolaty. Alcohol is not very obvious. A lighg bitterness in the very back of the mouth. Mouthfeel is a bit of, since there is no carbonation. Al in all, awesome beer, but really needed that carbonation to lift it.
