Draught @ Olfestival 2011 Kobenhavn, Carlsberg TAP1, Ny Carlsbergvej 91, Copenhagen V, Denmark.

Clear dark black brown colour with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, caramel, dark dried berry, moderate to heavy hoppy, orange - citrus. grapefruit. Flavour is heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, sopay, citrus - orange, dark malt, alcohol. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is moderate alcoholic. Bottled. A deep red beer with a lazing tan head. The aroma has strong notes of citrusy hops, alcohol, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol, roasted malt, wood, and citrusy hops, leading to a dry roasted finish. The alcohol tickles the mouth. Thanks yespr for sharing.

37.5 cl bottle. Pours dark brown to black with a small tan head. Aroma is solid hoppy, peachy and mild pinewood. Sticky sweet and solid hops fruity. Solid fruity, sweet, good level of bitterness. Sticky sweet and bitter finish.

Pours a clear orangey brown with a small off-white head. Roasted nose with some medicinal hops. Very solid body, heavily medicinal hop notes combined with the booze making this almost cough syrupish, with some late roastiness. Heavy alcohol in the finish. 270511

Draught@CPH BF 2011. Hazy murky red/brown colour with a mediumsized off-white head. Aroma is sour wood, some tartness and also mild roasted notes. Flavour is liquorice, some fruity notes as well as some mild caramel. Grassy and bitter aftertaste along with some roast. Not at all my thing.

Draught at Københavnske Øldage 2011. Very dark brown, small head. Grapefruity nose. Sweet and full bodied with oily mouthfeel. Syrupy oily malt covered in loads of grapefruity hops. A huge, bold beer, but not the most refined or elegant beer around.

Draught at Copenhagen Beer Festival 2011. Hazy red brown coloured with a small beige head. Fruity aroma of hops and grape fruits with notes of liquorice and caramel. Fruity flavour of caramel, hops and grape fruits with notes of liquorice. Hoppy finish.

Draft @ Copenhagen Beer Festival 2011. Pours a dark amber color with a small off-white head. Has a hoppy bitter piney grapefruit aroma. Fruity malty hoppy bitter grapefruit flavor with hints of licorice. Has a fruity malty hoppy bitter finish.

Copenhagen Beer Festival, 2011. Pours dark brown amber with a small creamy head on top. Syrup, grain, hops, fruit and bubblegum. Smooth and warm.

Sample @ CBF. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are rich hops, flowers, citrus, roast malt and caramel.
