Bottled. Clear amber, no head. Aroma of coffee and chili. Very sweet with full body and viscous mouthfeel. Lots of syrup as well as honey, ash and chili. Low bitterness. A big beer with unusual flavours, way too much sugar and not a whole lot of balance or finesse.

(Bottle, 0.375 l - #1874, at Oluttupa Viisi Penniä, 20120303) The beer poured clear and amber. Its head was small and white. Aroma had solvent, hops and malts. Palate was medium bodied, warming and dry with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, saltiness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was salty and bitter. Quite weird and too much solvent-like.

UPDATED: SEP 2, 2012 Bottle, at Patricks. It pours a clear dark amber colored body under a small, dense, off-white head. Caramel maltyness, some alcohol and vanilla and a touch of cocoa on the nose. Hop notes too. Full-bodied, lightly warming and soft on the carbonation. Dried fruits, alcohol, caramel, some cocoa and hoppy bitterness, as well as some spiced notes. Lasting finish. Sure a nice one, especially like the cocoa like touch. Rating: 8-4-7-4-15-3.8. 120301

Bottle, 375cl corked. It pours a very dark brown body, topped by a nice, beige head leaving some lacings. Roasted malts tending towards butterscotch, cocoa covered praline, some alcohol, a touch of coffee, dark chocolate, coconut and sugar on the nose. The flavor has licorice, roasted malts, alcohol, some cocoa and bitterness. Full-bodied, warming and maybe a bit low on carbonation. Warming finish. A beer with a wonderful aroma, a tad too sweet flavor, and overall a bit too much warmth, but damn fine anyway. 120317

Bottle. Pours bronze with small off-white head. Aroma of malt, caramel, alcohol, brown sugar and fruitiness. Flavor is sweet and malty with some caramel, grains, warming alcohol and dried fruits. Medium to full body, average carbonation.

Bottled. An amber beer with a thin yellowish head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, malt, and alcohol, leading to a dry alcoholic finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Bottle 37,5 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a clear deep golden with a small white head. Dry chili notes on a bed of syrupy fruit. Rich body, thick and rich fruits, again syrupy with a rough hop profile and then again quite some chili. Boozy finish. No pleasure in this one for me. I note that others taste coffee where I taste chili - actually I often feel a similarity between the too. But I do feel a slight bite here. 290212

clear golden, smooth offwhite head. pretty boozy aroma, fruity. flavor is boozy, farty, malty, bitter spicy.

37.5 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is spiced, chili and vegetables. Sweet, malty, caramelish and cornish. Smooth caramelish with a solid chili bite. Dry and spiced finish.

Bottle at home - shared with Mette. Clear amber/brown - white head. The Short version: Coffee, sweetness and alcohol. Brown sugar, roasted coffee, nice coffee, sweet malty, amber malts, high sugar in the coffee, light nutty, fruity notes. OK.

Strong coffee nose, sweet latte/coffee flavour. Some frutiy notes as well. ’long tail with lots of coffee.
