Bottled@Kaisla, Helsinki. Deep rubyish brown colour with a minor slightly off-white head. Aroma is chocolate, some ripe fruits, mild toffee and spices along with mild alcohol. Flavour is quite similar. Tasty, but a bit on the boozy side.

Bottle. Pours a murky brown with a quickly fading off white head. Aroma of nuts, earthy, caramel, woody. Taste is of nuts, molasses, hint of ginger, finish is sweet similar to a sherry. Soft carbonation, heavy syrupy mouthfeel.

Habanero (3339) - Tranbjerg, DENMARK - SEP 12, 2015
Bottled. Hazy amber with a small beige head. Aroma with notes of caramel, over ripe fruits, and bread. Sweet flavor that ends up more dry with notes of alcohol. Medium bodied, oily texture and soft carbonation. A nice Quad indeed. 🌟🌟🌟🌟

McWorta (1071) - LUXEMBOURG - SEP 3, 2015
Opaque rusty red-brown (25-30 EBC) colour with a tiny light creamy beige head. Aromas of chocolate malty, raisin cake, vanilla fudge with caramelised dates, sweet wet tobacco and faint dry leather, herbs, coffee and dark dried fruits develop. Just enough carbonation to lift the palate, slickviscous, smooth, full bodied. Vanilla fudge sweetness rules the palate leaving enough room for a herbal coffee, bitter chocolate astringent bite. Well balanced, sweet lasting finish hiding its alcohol well; pretty complex.

Torrefacto (1030) - Madrid, SPAIN - AUG 30, 2015

Bottle ( GOD I hate these synthetic corks ) pours thick, clear dark copperbrown with a small white head. Smell is sweet, vanilla, leaves-in-the-fall / earthy. To the sweet side, with a hint of some herbs? Taste is sweet, chocolaty, some grains. Very hidden bitter aspect. candi sugar, earhty. Just like other AB’s, its a good beer, just not as good as you want for the price you pay

Bottle 375ml @ Geokkjer
Pours hazy reddish brown with a small off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, grain, caramel and alcohol. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long warm, grainy, caramel and malty finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle, 375ml corked. A hazy, chestnut colored beer topped by a dense, beige head of very moderate size. The aroma is quite grainy, with coffee grit, rye bread, blue plums and some dried fruits. It’s full-bodied, warming and softly carbonated, with flavors of roasted malts and rye bread, Coffee, dark chocolate and coffee grit. Lasting malt dominated finish. Quite nice this one, but I’m not impressed. 150814
