Bottle from Bierzwerg!
Pours deep black with very high, off-white creamy head. Smells malty with some bitter roasted coffee and some chocolate. Starts with pleasant roasted malts, coffee, chocolate and some smokiness. The middle part has much more burnt malts and bitter coffee. Goes into a smooth malty finish with some chocolate and burnt toffee notes.

Pelny aromat sliwki w czekoladzie, troche lukrecji i piernik. Tresciwe i porzadne piwo.

3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 wainwj (10) - South Yorkshire, ENGLAND - MAY 8, 2013
Aroma is South American coffee and chocolate.
Taste is not as heavy as I expected, not much to it at first (may be due to temp rather than the beer)
Toffee and coffee aftertaste, sweet and dry. Very nice for something that isn’t usually my style of beer.

Bottle 0,33L. Tasted it a year ago. Very dark brown colour with two fingers of light brown head. Sweety aroma of caramel, hoppy flowers, cherry and raspberries. Sweet to acidic taste with bitter aftertaste. Not regular porter, for sure.

Bottle at Bitter Tasting Room in Vancouver. Huge tan head on this mother. A bit translucent. Not quite full black. Sweet on the nose. Heavy coffee overtones on the palate. A coffee porter, I’d say. Nice.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 JulienHuxley (1705) - Trois-Rivieres, Quebec, CANADA - APR 19, 2013
Bottle thanks to SlovakSniper. Clear dark brown/red pour with lacy white foam. Aroma of caramelized sugars, dates, plums, some oxidization (I’ve had this bottle for quite a while now). Roastiness is subtle, more complez caramelization and dark fruits, typical english yeast aroma and flavor profile. Palate is med bodied with good carbonation. Decent.
