Aroma: Tropical fruit sitting over a chocolate edge. Slight herbal note. Appearance: Black with deep red edges. Small, tan head. Taste: Fruity hops leading to a round, roast coffee finish. Slightly salty. Palate: Medium body, slick with medium carbonation and a soft bitter finish. Overall: Bit too hop forward for my liking, but a tasty porter in any case.

Bottle. Aroma of red fruit (strawberries, cherries), musty potpourri, bubblegum, some vanilla and roast. Unexpectedly fruity. Moderately full bodied, sweetish, fruity flavour, some licorice and roast in the finish. Quite an original effort, I liked it very much.

En bra porter. Rätt vag aroma, rostade toner. Lätt i kroppen. Lite för mycket kolsyrad.

A somewhat sweeter body, but still quite a balanced taste of chocolate, coffee and hops. Generally quite balanced but mostly on the hoppier side.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours very dark brown with a medium, frotty off-white head and an aroma of black coffe, pure chocolate, vanilla and burnt malts. The taste is medium sweet and burny, with a short roasty finish. Not that special, but not bad at all

Not as full a body as expected, but the soft carbon helps - rather pleasant overall.

Eructoblaster (3144) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 31, 2013
Bottle - 330ml. Pours a black body with brown glints and a thin beige creamy head. Rich, complex malty/hoppy aroma with fruity, vineous, chocolate, and some vanilla hints. Its robust taste carries licorice notes and ends with a warming bittersweet finish. Interesting.

Has a nice sweetish taste of chocolate and vanilla. But at the same time, there is a clear presence of hops, which prevents the sweetness of being too dominant.

Appearance: Dark brown/black with finger thick tan/ivory head. Aroma: Bread, slightly woody, dried fig and prune with a touch of liquorice. Taste: Low sweetness, medium bitterness and sourness. Roast, bread/toast, malt, slight toffee and liquorice. Palate: Thin smooth texture, light body and mouthfeel, low/average carbonation. Abrupt malt finish which develops further into a bitter dryness. Comments: Easy to drink, enjoyable and refreshing. Left a glass lace.
