(bottle, 33cl) Clear, dark brown colour with a ruby shine and a beige and firm mid-sized foamy head. Mildly sweet and slightly sour dark malty aroma with notes leather, liquorice, vanilla and a subtle fruity touch of red berries. Moderately sweet flavour with a milder but present bitterness in the second row, medium to light bodied with a soft carbonation. Roasty malty base with shades of dark and red berries and a mildly touch of vanilla in the background; roasty bitter and delicately sweet malty finish. 22.X.12

Tap @ Ochutnavkova pivnice. Pours black liquid with stable, tan head. Aroma is full of coffee, dried fruit and alcohol. Taste sweet, kinda like Irish coffee. Full body with creamy texture and soft carbonation. Tasteful coffee porter, worth a shot.

Bottle. Pours cloudy dark brown with airy light tan head. Dark aroma of malt, caramel and dried fruit. Roasty, sweetish taste of malt with notes of caramel, ending bitter. Good but not exactly revolutionary.

Bottle from Bierzwerg!
Pours deep black with very high, off-white creamy head. Smells malty with some bitter roasted coffee and some chocolate. Starts with pleasant roasted malts, coffee, chocolate and some smokiness. The middle part has much more burnt malts and bitter coffee. Goes into a smooth malty finish with some chocolate and burnt toffee notes.

Pelny aromat sliwki w czekoladzie, troche lukrecji i piernik. Tresciwe i porzadne piwo.

Flaska från Systembolaget. Mörk vätska. Doft av rostat kaffe och smörkola. Smak av...Vilken luring, denna smakade inte mycket. Tunn, tunn kropp och ingen eftersmak.

Aroma is South American coffee and chocolate. Taste is not as heavy as I expected, not much to it at first (may be due to temp rather than the beer) Toffee and coffee aftertaste, sweet and dry. Very nice for something that isn’t usually my style of beer.

Bottle 0,33L. Tasted it a year ago. Very dark brown colour with two fingers of light brown head. Sweety aroma of caramel, hoppy flowers, cherry and raspberries. Sweet to acidic taste with bitter aftertaste. Not regular porter, for sure.

Bottle at Bitter Tasting Room in Vancouver. Huge tan head on this mother. A bit translucent. Not quite full black. Sweet on the nose. Heavy coffee overtones on the palate. A coffee porter, I’d say. Nice.
