A nice wee porter. Not BrewDog’s best beer, but the first BrewDog beer that I ever encountered. Pours black with a quickly disappearing head. Smells sweet, tastes chocolate, burnt sugar, dried fruits.

Bottle at BrewDog Camden. Poured a thick, syrupy black, with a dense beige head. Powerful aroma of liquorice, vanilla pods, dark roast coffee and peat. Dark rum and port in the flavour, with big molasses and roast malt. Bitter burnt lingering finish, with mouth warming booze soaked dark fruit, cocoa and ash. Yum.
