Cask, perminant. A rock and roll medley of tropical fruit, berries and pine gives way to hints of roasted malt and a heady hoppiness, but with very low bitterness.

On cask at the Holyrood 9A. Pours a golden - red colour with a fair white head. Hoppy aroma of pineapple, mango, passion fruit, caramel and yeast. Similar flavours with some barley. Long passion fruit and pineapple linger. Moderate carbonation and a mild CO2 prickle. A foamy mouth-feel. Quite nice if a little thin.

On cask at Southampton Arms - August 19, 2011. Gorgeous pour - bright clear deep refractive amber with a good-sized frothy off-white head. Smells a bit sweet - buckwheat honey - with some balancing grassiness; taste follows, less sweet, more grass, add in some dry leafy bitterness - fairly light-tasting, really. Light body, slick and still, with a dry and slightly carbonized bitter finish. Not too "alpha" but a tasty pint.

Cask at White Horse, Parsons Green. It pours dark amber with thin beige head. The nose is wood, earth, floral and caramel. The taste is pine, roasted malt, earth, toffee, red berry and a little spice, with enjoyably long bitter-dry finish. A very drinkable bitter with a Brewdog twist.

First off this is 3.8% version of the same beer. Not sure if this is specifically a CASK version or a new version. A- Dark amber with a soft thin head. Decent lacing. S - Sweet Biscuit malt with a bit of grassy hop bite to it. T - Fantastic contrast of flavors. the sweet biscuity malts do dominate but not overpower the bit of spice and garden fresh hoppy flavor which picks up and stands up to the malt towards the end blending really nicely and finishing with some dry woody notes. MD - As always the Cask pours it so smooth. Some stonger flavors were left on the palate but the great taste and love ABV made it such an easy one to drink.

Cask at the Euston Tap. Pours dark amber with a thick, foamy head. Piney, earthy hops on the nose with some honey and caramel. Light to medium sweet, lots of orange rind and bitter grapefruit, with pine sap. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes with heavy, heavy resins that coat the throat, moderate toast, pine, honey and grass. Great stuff.

Cask (handpump) at the Coronet, Holloway on 19 January 2011. Copper colour. Lasting beige head. Difficult to get much of a handle on the aroma initially as a bit cold. Some floral hop character emerges later. Relatively traditional feel (for BrewDog) on the palate. Hop presence develops significantly later on. Decent firm, earthy malt provides backbone. An excellent session bitter.

Cask @ The Bon Accord. Sweet flowery caramel aroma. Rich medium brown colour. Complex sweet flowery hard to describe flavour. Like an American beer. Very good.

Cask at Old Buttermarket Canterbury. Pretty looking beer Russet but more red with lasting thin beige head. Itts a decent beer with plenty of flavour and character. Lightly roasted malt some fruits on the aroma too. Really complex aroma. Its not quite like a UK beer that I can categorize. Really interesting. Maybe even a sour edge which I like but not sure should be there. If it is then this is a kind of flemish sour dark bitter which is amazing
