Bottled. Clear nut brown, small head. Nutty and roasty. Dryish with light body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Some grapefruit followed by resiny bitterness. Flavourful but a bit edgy.

Pours a dark red colour with a frothy off-white head. Aroma is sweet malt, caramel and some nutty notes. Taste is also sweet malt, caramel with lightly roasted and nutty notes leading to a dry bitter finish. Not bad.

In bottle at Craig’s BrewDog tasting. Pours a dark ruby colour with a decent yellowish head. Aroma of pine, lactose and caramel. Similar flavours and mild bitterness. Moderate carbonation and an oily mouth-feel. Not bad.

Aroma is slightly sweet and hoppy with resin, some caramel and fruits. Flavour is also hoppy with fruits, some bready malt, caramel and biscuits. Nice.

Another funky beer from Brewdof it seems. This one is copper with some red in it. Some bready malt, fruits and hoppiness. Certainly not one of Brewdogs best but these guys can really brew the hops out of the dog (yeah, I don’t know either?).

Fruity smell. I tiny bit of roasty taste, with aroma of peach, citrus, plum and raisin. Red/brown colour with e little white head. Sticky feeling with an average carbonation. Long bitter finish. Overall, a good beer. Finishing of with a great quote from the label: "At BrewDog we are on a misson to open as many people’s eyes as possible; the beer scene is sick, and we are the fucking doctor" Gotta love it!

Tuoksussa makeutta ja sitruksisuutta, vaahto katoaa nopeasti. Maussa maltaan makeus ja humala tasapainossa, jokseenkin lyhytmakuinen. Helposti juotava, mielellään ottaa toisenkin kulauksen. Ei oma suosikki, mutta voisin juoda toistekin.

Fruity sweet aroma. Easy to drink. Short, but long bitter aftertaste. Not so fruity as the smell. Batch 568. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Scopey (1659) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 21, 2012
Bottle picked up in a Stavanger supermarket. It pours clear amber, with a thick beige head. The nose is roasted malt, leather, nut and some caramel/toffee. The taste is wood, roasty, leather, earth, nut, touch of caramel and leaf, with a bitter-dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Good balance and pretty drinkable for the style. Definitely not a typical BrewDog offering.
