Gr0ve (2127) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUN 9, 2012
330 ml bottle. Golden copper colour with a sparkling red hue. Small off-white fine-laced head. Fruity hoppy nose. Mango and peach with a little butter. Rich sweet caramel. Smooth velvety texture. Body is light for a beer this strong. Bold, indeed, but still very drinkable. Alcohol is definitely noticeable, but there’s enough other things happening to make this a well balanced beer.

FatPhil (8995) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - MAY 31, 2012
330ml bottle (Beer Shop, Tallinn)
Sweet jammy strawberry raspberry aroma on pouring. In the glass, more hoppy. A bit sickly in the mouth, some liquorice. Quite a dull beer, only has one thrust - sticky sweet and hops. It’s actually very sickly. The booze is, well, just too damn boozy. It burns the tongue it’s so hot. Aggressive and unbalanced. Makes me gag with each sip. Has no sensible reason to exist.
