Fuck the system. Forget what you know. What has been. Bow to no one. History is bereft. Reorder. Disorder. Embrace the unknown. The groundbreaking. The challenging. The ichorous revolution is upon us. Try until your fingers bleed and your mind is numb.Try harder. Try this. Try that. Try the other. Try what hasn’t been tried. Then try again. Keep trying. Forge the new. The molten elixir awakens.

A 16.5% IPA Evolution. Taking our favourite beer style to the next level, Anarchist Alchemist is a triple dry hopped triple IPA. Did not think triple IPAs existed? Neither did we. So we brewed one.

Poured from a 330ml bottle ordered from the brewery. Pours a lovely deep copper/burnt orange with a small off white head that quickly dissipates. Typical big ipa smell, strong hop and fruit aromas. Taste is of citrus fruits, hops, bitterness with a strong alcohol presence that can be slightly overwhelming. Full bodied with a long, bitter finish with a slight burn. Hardcore IPA is superior.

Bottle sample at a tasting at the Dancing Camel. Thanks DSG. Pours deep red with a nice head, aroma of honey, malt and orange marmalade, flavor of orange sweets, moderate bitterness, alcohol, medium to full bodied, nice

On tap @ BrewDog Camden. Sampled on 8th July 2012. Amber with thin ring of foam. Rich chocolaty biscuit malt aroma with Christmas cake scents. Richly and intensely cheesy malty and fruity in-mouth; hops a background feature rather than a foreground one. Sherry-like finish with plenty of "oak" notes. Velvet smooth mouthfeel.

Bottled 330ml (Beer Hunters, BB 06/2017)
Clear amber color, small white head. Sticky alcohol, sweet, bitter aroma with some similarities with Mikkeller Black. Full-bodied. Very sweet, licorice, liquerish palate, hoppy and very alcoholic, but not so burning. For looong cellaring. Now just another Russian malt liquer and very sad example of hype on Ratebeer.

kerenmk (4225) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - JUN 28, 2012
Bottle sample at a tasting at the Dancing Camel. Thanks DSG. Clear dark golden-amber, nice white head. Fresh citrus-grapefruit aroma, tastes bitter, fresh and a little sour - lemony even. Light body, bitter finish, very drinkable.

Bottle. Pours clear amber with a medium creamy off white head. The aroma is resin, sweet malt, pine, sweet hoppy fruit and citrus. The flavour is quite sweet but the hops balances it in a way. Of course there is an alcohol burn but also nice sweet fruity hoppy notes. Bitter sweet finish.

suurjuust (2912) - ESTONIA - JUN 19, 2012
Orange-tinted brown, small tan head that quickly disappears. Nose is heavy, lots of bisquity malt, powerful hops, tropical fruit, dust, boozy notes. Taste is very sweet, bready and malty in the beginning, then develops into hoppy-fruity bitterness, peach-orange-grapefruit notes dominating. Boozy finish with some more malt in the retronasals. Oily, thick palate.

DSG (12170) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - JUN 19, 2012
Bottle shared at a tasting at Dancing Camel. Clear amber color. Aroma of slightly stale hops with a bit of citric, floral and piney hints, malt and a bit of alcohol. Sweet chewy malty flavor with caramel, a bit of cookies and a drier finish, somewhat bitter with some alcohol. Medium-bodied, somewhat oily. Decent and very drinkable for 14%.

Too much sweetness and alcohol in the aroma and taste. But an interesting beer. The taste changed from start , to midway, to end. But still the alcohol was a bit too much
