3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
330 ml bottle @ Pub Kultainen Apina, Herwood. Batch 072, BBE 15.03.2017.
Pours a ruby copper colour with a small white head on the edges. Aroma of stinging, really strong floral hops, exotic fruits, caramel and alcohol fume. Flavour is intense as well; alcohol, strong floral hops, grass, heavy caramel malts and dried fruits. Some licorice saltiness after a while. Full bodied, thick mouthfeel and a burning alcohol finish with caramel and loads of hops. A very alcohol-driven DIPA, yet enjoyable and very bitter. Not for everyone.

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Sample on tap at Copenhagen Beer Celebration. Clear amber colour, moderate off-white head. Nice aroma of fruity hops on a moderately malty background, notes of ripe berries. No sign of the high ABV in the aroma. The flavour has undeniably quite a bit of alcohol, along with a substantial malty sweetness. Bitter finish.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
330 ml bottle - pours clear dark orange with amber tint, tiny off-white head. Aroma of alcohol, nuts, peach, vanilla, malt. Body is huge with immediate alcohol warmth and sticky sweetness. Overly and burning alcohol feeling in the finish.... Liked it more when it was really cold than when it got a bit warmed up.

Amber orange. Clear. Surprisingly clear and glowing.
Hoppy nose with pine and resin.
Taste the same with loads of dried fruits. Really a fruity hoppy beer.
Very oily texture.
Mouth gets number and number as I drink the beer. Not really A’s alcoholic A’s feared, but still... It is there.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from a friend. Very sweet and extremely hoppy beer. I was expecting it to be allot more boozey, I actually wasn’t to bothered with the high ABV in this one.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Amber orange. Strong, resinous hoos and woody pale malts, like sniffing a pine tree. Palate is a bit slicky, not oily, but in that direction. Surprisingly light for the abv, and full of taste to cover the alc. Well balanced bitterness, feel more like a regular dipa than the monster it is. Some caramel. Overall a positive experience. I wouldn’t have thought something this strong could be as light and pale ale-ish as it is. Intensive flavor with a lingering nutty, woodsy, finish.
