On keg at The BrewDog Bar. Pours a dark golden amber colour with a thin white head. Aroma of pine, coconut, pineapple, must yeast and alcohol. Similar flavours with fair bitterness. Mild carbonation and CO2 prickle with an oily mouth-feel. A little dry and sweet with lingering coconut and oak.

huge hop hit on the nose, malts fairly present too. booze really comes through. first taste has all of these combined in one hit along with a huge sweet syrupy kick that is far too much for me. alcohol burn is too intense for the abv. sickly and not really my thing

355mL shared at RBSG Grand Tasting thanks to VsXsV. Clear amber pour. Low carbonation. Huge cheesecloth and stale DIPA nose. Taste is honey, sticky resin, maple, sugar, huge cheese. Sticky, chewy palate. Run of the mill stale DIPA.

330ml bottle from Drink Shop, Tallinn

Batch 072, BBE 17.03.17 - Pours clear dark amber with a small white head. Strong sweet malty aroma with notes of glue, alcohol and fruity hops. Taste is malty and sweet with some fruitiness, caramel, syrup and sugar. Hints of glue and gooseberries. Finish is again heavy on malts and sweet sugary notes. Alcohol comes through way too much. Unbalanced, messy and boozy. Too sweet for my taste.

UPDATED: JUL 22, 2012 Bottle from Brewdog, Edingburgh, June 2012 consumed in a field at Truck Festival, Steventon, Oxon Friday 20th July 2012 First beer of the day. Pours cointreau® orange colour. Thick, heavy, sticky beer, bitterness very much there but a little lost under the sweet blanket. Furry bitterness, clingy, syrupy but good. A7 A4 T8 P3 Ov15 3.7

Poured from a 330ml bottle ordered from the brewery. Pours a lovely deep copper/burnt orange with a small off white head that quickly dissipates. Typical big ipa smell, strong hop and fruit aromas. Taste is of citrus fruits, hops, bitterness with a strong alcohol presence that can be slightly overwhelming. Full bodied with a long, bitter finish with a slight burn. Hardcore IPA is superior.

ladnewton (1142) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 9, 2012
On tap @ BrewDog Camden. Sampled on 8th July 2012. Amber with thin ring of foam. Rich chocolaty biscuit malt aroma with Christmas cake scents. Richly and intensely cheesy malty and fruity in-mouth; hops a background feature rather than a foreground one. Sherry-like finish with plenty of "oak" notes. Velvet smooth mouthfeel.

Bottled 330ml (Beer Hunters, BB 06/2017)
Clear amber color, small white head. Sticky alcohol, sweet, bitter aroma with some similarities with Mikkeller Black. Full-bodied. Very sweet, licorice, liquerish palate, hoppy and very alcoholic, but not so burning. For looong cellaring. Now just another Russian malt liquer and very sad example of hype on Ratebeer.

Bottle sample at a tasting at the Dancing Camel. Thanks DSG. Clear dark golden-amber, nice white head. Fresh citrus-grapefruit aroma, tastes bitter, fresh and a little sour - lemony even. Light body, bitter finish, very drinkable.
