3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Dark golden colour, white head, hoppy and spicy aroma, with some honey sweetness. Taste is sweet, malty, some more spices, apricot and hops. Powerful stuff. Interesting too, but it just isnít brilliant by any means.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Citrusy aroma, some grapefruit, rather sweet hint of peach(?) alcohol very apparent. Overall experience reminded me of a bourbon-like drink.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle at home. The colour is golden orange with a small light beige head. Sour hoppy aroma with pine, grapefruit and herbal hops. More herbal hops in a powerful flavour with alcohol, marzipan and grapefruit. Rich and slick mouth feel, and a medium to heavy bitterness. Powerful and balanced DIPA but maybe too much alcohol for my liking.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from Brewdog.com (£9.99, 330ml):
Strong, bitter hops and a good helping of alcohol mixed with some tropical fruit notes kicks things off quite well. There is some citrus notes, grapefruit and some sweeter malts coming through with some vanilla and some grain too. Itís not as harsh on the nose as I was expecting.
Clear, bright, orange amber colour with a half centimetre tall and bubbly head that is a very light tan colour. Head turns patchy lacing after a couple moments.
Sweet with some subdued hops and a touch of vanilla along with huge amounts of alcohol and grain. There is some citrus, apricot and pine with some spice and pepper too. The taste is quite nice but then all of a sudden the alcohol takes over.
Full bodied and backed up with huge amounts of alcohol and grain. There beer is quite fruits and sweet with a strong and dry finish that feels quite thick and oily.
Started really nice yet very strong double IPA (well triple IPA apparently) with a lot of bitter hops and sweetness coupled with tonnes of alcohol but as the drink progressed it managed to settle down some and turn it to a very strong and warming beer that I spent well over an hour drinking. Not bad but not really great either.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Golden body, yellow head. Very hoppy fragrances and quite brutal bitterness but not the kind that I expected from a double IPA. Taste is somewhat buttery, very drinkable, there is some sweetness balancing the bitterness, although I canít decide what the cause is. Pretty good.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
330mL bottle, pours a clear reddish orangey amber with a small beige / tan head. Aroma is very malty for a triple IPA, with notes of syrupy caramel malts, resinous hops, and some fruity notes. Flavour is very syrupy for such a highly hopped beer, with syrupy caramel malts, some very fruity notes, and resinous hops -- the hops are certainly there, but the malts outshine here. A little cloying in sweetness. Decent stuff, but this isnít exactly the best idea to begin with.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from BrewDog - around a year old. Rate #1300
Dark orange, clear, frothy off white head, some lacing
Aroma of barley sugar malts, caramelised scorched oranges, soft grassy hop, slight perfumy note, hops have obviously not lasted
Taste as aroma, boozy boozy, sweet barley sugar malts, fruity caramel, burnt orange, some bitter hops - itís too old now tbh, too malty
Palate - Soft carb, full body, sweet ruch palte, sweet sugary malts, lots of alcohol burn. Finish of booze, smooth, same as main flavour
Overall - Big booze, alcohol burn, too malty, hops have diminished, itís not working for me. However, there are some rich fruity caramelised orange malts in there which are good. Overall, I should have drunk this when it came out

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
From a bottle, pours golden brown with not much head, aroma is very malty with an alcohol kick. Pretty nice to sup, finishes sweet and alcoholic with some grapefruit hops in there. As it warms up, it becomes more pleasant and becomes a nice fruity barley wine.. A couple extra marks for being 14%

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
golden with a white head - nice hop aroma with flowers and citrus - good malt to balance the hops that has some notes of flowers and citrus - lingerin hops in the finish - this was quite good
